很久沒看 “兩小無猜”片了，純純的愛果然容易讓人怦然心動！故事結構很簡單，是說的方式特別，用男女主不同的眼睛交叉觀點詮釋，呼應了古早《男人來自火星》，《女人來自金星》的説法！自從八歲那年搬到 Julie家對面，Julie的「大膽示愛」至此困擾著Bryce。Bryce的有趣開場：「我從此步入長達五年策略性逃避（strategic avoidance﹞與社交不安（social discomfort）的生活。」而 Julie則簡單地說出她的感覺：「見到Bryce Loski的第一天，我便怦然心動了（flipped）。他閃爍的雙眼使我著迷。」故事緩緩流瀉，愛戀漸漸升溫，Bryce慢慢學會了如何表達自己和尊重不同身份的人，而Julie瞭解喜歡一個人並不是只因為他的長相，而是要看一個人的整體性。 在喜歡別人之前，要先把自己變成一個更好的人，而談戀愛最美好的也莫過於你能夠跟喜歡的人一起成為更好的人。
