Since the outbreak of the #WuhanCoronavirus, most states in the #US have been hit hard by the unprecedented pandemic. Medical personnel in the US are on the front-lines of the fight against the disease with limited personal protective equipment.
A friend in need is a friend indeed, so in the spirit of #TaiwanCanHelp and #TaiwanIsHelping, Taiwan has donated over 4 million medical masks to US state governments since April to assist front-line medical workers.
To date several government officials, including governors and lieutenant governors, in various states have acknowledged our efforts and expressed their gratitude for our donation.
