【有一種友情叫做真心】
在台灣面臨嚴峻考驗之際，日本及美國友人及時提供疫苗，我們由衷的感謝。
但是，每當有人對台灣友好，總會有些人故意放出虛假的訊息，捏造友人沒說過的話，刻意要在危急時刻來考驗我們的信心，讓台灣人民誤以為自己孤立無援。
日本政府在6/4這一天，將最新生產的 #所有AZ疫苗共124萬劑，全部無償提供台灣，非常感人。但有心人士在網路社群散播的不實謠言，「台灣政府告訴茂木外相，七月要打國產，所以只要少量應急，只來124萬劑就好」，網路謠言所稱的這段說法，完全不是茂木外相的發言，這種惡意操作，不僅扭曲了日本政府的誠意，為了特定政治立場操弄輿論，更是令人極度遺憾。
目前全球各大疫苗廠供貨依然緊張，台灣會持續向各疫苗原廠及主要生產國盡力爭取，確保供應穩定。
The decision by the government of #Japan to donate 1,240,000 vaccines to Taiwan, was based on the view of Japanese foreign minister Motegi Toshimitsu that June would be a time of particular need for #Taiwan, in light of the fact that Taiwan’s own vaccine production line wouldn’t be up and running until July.
In a moving gesture of international friendship, Japan provided the vaccines without any compensation. Foreign Minister Motegi did not say the number of vaccines was decided on request by the Taiwanese government.
