That was the assurance from MidOne after I told him about my scholarship's cancellation announced in 2016 when he was just starting his gaming career which, at least from my perspective at that point of time, would entail a lot of uncertainties. And it was his assurance that pushed me forward, and that really tells what kind of an individual he is- putting others' needs before his (Fnatic was placed 5-6th in Shanghai Major, and I never intended to accept his offer regardless of the results)
His way to where he is today was often hindered by objection and critisms of varying degrees from people surrounding. But he never doubted in himself. Instead, he kept saying to his inner-self that he would able to prove others wrong some point in the future which, of course, was not done to seek recognition but in the pursue of his passion. His influence has been huge on me as I constantly draw motivation from him (I watch most of his live matches/post-match highlights despite not knowing much about Dota). He has set as an inspiring exemplary that proves success lies on sheer determination, regardless of what fields that you are in. Be clear on your goals, ignore unnecessary noises, lay down your execution actions and all these brought Midone to where he is.
On a side note, all the best and enjoy the games in the upcoming SuperMajor and TI 8. Please show us what you got! And, Happy Birthday //
