Buckingham Palace is also a worth-visiting spot. If the Queen happens to be there, the Royal Standard flag will be risen. On the other hand, it would be the National flag as shown in the picture. Please refer to the official website for the timetable of "Changing the Guard", and remember you can get discounts with the London Pass.
Personally, it is a must-see palace in Britain regarding the fact that the royal family still lives there. Besides, the state rooms are glamourous. Don't forget to check out the gardens and lake behind the palace as well!
▍皇家小衛兵 ▍
白金漢宮的衛兵交接，是許多人到倫敦旅遊時必規劃的行程之一，儀隊進場時的壯闊場面，整齊劃一的高帽子與樂隊表演，總是會吸引滿滿的人潮。
因為現在是冬天，所以衛兵穿的是灰色的大衣，而不是我們平常常見到的紅色，皇家衛兵的任務之一就是保護英國女皇，隸屬於英國陸軍，採募兵制，分為騎兵和步兵。衛兵們戴的高帽子叫做「熊皮帽」，象徵英國強盛的軍力 (早期是法國人為了讓士兵看起來很高大，滑鐵盧戰役後，英國人便也開始戴起了這種帽子，直至今日)

A closer look at Changing the Guard at Buckingham Palace.
Changing the Guard or Guard Mounting is the process involving a new guard exchanging duty with the old guard.
The Guard which mounts at Buckingham Palace is called The Queen’s Guard and is divided into two Detachments: the Buckingham Palace Detachment (which is responsible for guarding Buckingham Palace), and the St. James’s Palace Detachment, (which guards St. James’s Palace). These guard duties are normally provided by a battalion of the Household Division and occasionally by other infantry battalions or other units.
