柚子具有Essential oils和 Psoralens，其氣味會讓貓的呼吸道因刺激感而產生不適外，也可能因為接觸到皮膚而產生紅腫過敏現象。若貓不小心舔食，則有可能有出現精神食欲不振，上吐下瀉等症狀。若有類似情況，請盡速帶貓就醫。
