最近接受許多媒體專訪，主題大部分都跟參選台北市長有關係。不過今日接受新頭殼專訪，除了市長選舉與市政議題之外，還有個特別的題目，那就是討論電競產業的發展。
台灣大約有765萬遊戲人口，世界排名第3，且台灣電競選手在國際賽表現突出，台北市更是全球觀看電競比賽時間最多的城市，所以不管是在產業端或消費市場，台灣都具備發展電競產業的潛力與優勢。我認為台灣資訊科技產業發達，現在又努力發展AR VR技術，這些都跟電競唇齒相依，也是台灣最大的優勢。
我認為未來台北市就是要繼續擴大舉辦國際電競賽事，類似F1賽車巡迴站的形式，讓台北成為亞洲第一站。藉由與民間電競產業合作舉辦大型國際電競的比賽，帶動整個產業鏈的發展與國際的分工。既可創新城市經濟也可以帶動整體台灣的電競產業發展。
