“The Dream of Red Mansions”, a classical, lengthy masterpiece is being performed in Malaysia for the first time in drama form. The stage play is an adaptation by Symphony Theatre based on the original historical novel of the same name.

Starring the popular performing actress Jessie Chung, the stage play also stars lead actor Terry Lim, who was chosen out of a mountain of applicants around the world to portray Jia Baoyu. Joining the ranks is lead actor of “Meant to Be”, the romantic, princelike American director Paul Lee and lead actor of “Music Box”, the charismatic heartthrob Jeffrey Beh! 🏹🏹🏹✨🌟

Jessie Chung is an international recording artist and actress based in Australia, currently under the management of Future Entertainment & Music Group. True to her multitalented status, she is also a doctor of medicine in oncology, naturopathic doctor (US), certified nutritional consultant (US), homeopathic doctor, certified iridologist, biotech researcher, accomplished entrepreneur, author, martial arts coach, and philanthropist from Malaysia. Besides holding a doctor of medicine degree (M.D.) in Clinical Chinese and Western Integrative Medicine—Oncology from Guangzhou University of TCM, China, she also possesses a Master of Business Administration from The University of South Australia and a Bachelor of Science in Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine from Oriental Medical Institute, Hawaii, USA. In recent years, she was the only naturopathic oncologist selected as one of the Hummingbird Cancer Centre leading members to head their natural therapy department. Besides singing, Jessie also has a gift for musical instruments, passing grade 8 organ at a young age with distinction, under the examination of Japanese auditors. After her studies, she devoted herself into the entertainment industry and charity; so far, she has released eight albums and starred in three feature films. In 2013, she took on lead actress in the Chinese film Faces and Malaysian film Unchanging Love. She also appeared in the 2014 film Kungfu Taboo. She is known for her ebullient and enigmatic concert performances in countries all around the world, including the United States, Canada, China, Taiwan, and Malaysia. Tickets for six shows of the stage play “The Dream of Red Mansions” have been sold out, and after adding three additional shows, tickets sold out immediately once again!

With all nine shows sold out, Symphony Theatre has decided to add two additional shows on Saturday, August 15 and Sunday, August 16. Theatre lovers, hurry if you haven’t bought your tickets yet!

After five years of meticulous planning and heavy financial and emotional investment, Symphony Theatre has finally created an authentic stage play adaptation of “The Dream of Red Mansions”! Full of emotions, love and tears, Jessie Chung stars as ancient beauty Lin Daiyu in an awe-inspiring performance! The show has led to fans weeping uncontrollably, with some even calling it “a show of the century”! Theatregoers have gone crazy for it!

The cast includes 26 actors. 🤩🤩 In addition to international artist Jessie Chung, actors participating in the performance include Jeffrey Beh, lead actor of “Music Box”, Paul Lee of the U.S., lead actor of “Meant to Be”, Tylor Chen, lead actor of “Moonlight”, and Terry Lim, who was chosen out of a mountain of applicants around the world to portray Jia Baoyu.

Jessie has been honoured with countless awards received from various ministers of Malaysia for her achievements, particularly two awards from the prime ministers of Malaysia. 钟洁希是一名在中港台及澳洲发展的国际歌手与演员，目前已签约澳洲未来娱乐与音乐集团，成为该公司的旗下艺人。多才多艺的她也是一名肿瘤专科医学博士、美国注册的自然医学医生、美国合格高级营养顾问、顺势疗法医师、虹膜师、生物科技研究人员、成功的企业家、作家、武术教练和慈善家。 除了考获中西医结合临床医学博士学位，她也考获澳洲南澳大学工商管理硕士学位、美国夏威夷东方医药学院中医及针灸学士学位，成为了自然医学大师伯纳德医生(Dr Bernard Jensen)的得意门生。近来，她也是唯一一位被选入蜂鸟癌症治疗中心(The Hummingbird Cancer Centre)的自然医学肿瘤医生，并担任该治疗中心自然疗法医药部的主席。 钟洁希从小就受到音乐的薰陶，多次在校际歌唱比赛中得奖。初中时，钟洁希被选为全省区域代表，参于大马国庆日演出，也是当时唯一的少年歌手。之后，她也陆续代表音乐学院上电视节目独唱。 16岁那年，她也在加拿大参加香港无线国际性新秀大赛，成功进入决赛。除了唱歌天赋，洁希也热衷于乐器演奏。高中时，洁希也在日本电子琴考级考试中以特优成绩考获第八级。 博士毕业后，钟洁希全心投入演艺圈，至今已发行8张个人专辑及演出3部电影。在2013年，钟洁希接拍北京电影公司制作的《面孔》及马来西亚制作的电视电影《女侠》，担任女主角。 2014年也被邀请参与集合马新港三地演员同台打造的贺岁动作片《百武禁忌》。她在世界各地的演出深受大众喜爱，包括在美国、加拿大、中国、台湾和马来西亚，累积了许多舞台经验。 2015年举办的《钟洁希星星堆满天演唱会》，成功获得世界各地歌迷鼎力支持并专程前来捧场，挤爆了演唱会场地。洁希也常在演唱会中演唱“华巫英日粤”共5种语言的歌曲，大秀语言天份。接着，她也在2016年首创《倾城国色华乐演唱会》，巡回东西马共十场的演出，场场都爆满。除了演唱会，她也活跃于演艺界，曾经在新加坡、加拿大和马来西亚等地演出多部舞台剧，并且担任舞台剧主角。刚走红的《月光》舞台剧也反应热烈，网络上好评连连，10场演出皆爆满。 迄今，她共发行了六张中文专辑和两张英文专辑。 2012年发行的《爱在转瞬间》被选为卫视中文台韩国电视剧《秘密花园》的主题曲，该张专辑也曾多次在马来西亚爱FM“我们的排行榜”中夺冠。 2006年发行的《爱你》也曾在中国的音乐排行榜排名第8。在台湾发行的华语专辑《没有泪的天空》仅仅发行两个星期就已在台湾I Radio“金曲榜”荣升第4名，也在台湾Pop Radio“10大全球华语歌曲排行榜”排名第6名。 钟洁希的歌曲在国际广受欢迎，并获得各大音乐媒体的赞赏及台湾知名乐评人邱大立的肯定。此外，钟洁希也活跃于台湾的各项综艺电视节目，她的专辑也在全球性的知名综艺节目《康熙来了》中被蔡康永强力推荐。近日，钟洁希也频频受到中国及澳洲的电视台邀约参加电视节目。 钟洁希不只投身在舞台和娱乐界，她也在百忙中抽空撰写医学著作《远离癌症》、《远离疾病》和文学著作《洁希日记》系列，除了分享她多年的医学心得和医术精华，她也在书中分享她的人生哲学。迄今，她已完成超过10本文学和医学著作，并已翻译成英文版本及马来文版本，发行至中国、台湾、新加坡、文莱、菲律宾等地。 钟洁希热爱中华武术，并且考获中国武术协会颁发的中国武术段位制5段，及成为广东省体育局认可的合格武术教练员、裁判员及社会体育指导员。她参加过许多国际性武术比赛，并成功获得12面金牌及5面银牌，及香港国际武术节组委会提名列为“优秀教练”之一。 此外，她也曾经获奖无数，并获得大马前首相敦马哈迪医生及大马现任首相纳吉的认可。2014年，钟洁希也被列入“中华名人录”并获得“卓越华人”的称号。2016年，钟洁希的名声传至马来西亚皇室，并受邀参加最高元首的华诞庆典。
