那個年代，駐美代表是個榮譽，更有重大的責任，稱為代表或大使不是自己講的年代。沒有打卡、直播軟體，默默完成不可能的任務，為國家找出活路，是駐外人員的共識、也是使命。
這個年代，打卡、開直播比實質關係重要的年代，不管有沒有拿到邀請函，政府說了算，敢質疑就查你水錶。只要打個卡、開個直播、1450帶個方向什麼都解決了。總括一句：這是台美42年來關係最好的時刻。
