Eating in Saigon is a wonderful experience, but with Vietnamese food on a daily basis, restaurants like Skewers help me and many other expats and visitors get a taste of home. Western food is plentiful in Saigon, but none are like this place. I've actually eaten many times here before meeting the chef and owner from Southern California, Tristan Ngo. In this video, we sit down with him and chat a bit about his experiences in Vietnam and in business. Then we ate some food including clam chowder and meat loaf.
When you're in town, be sure to visit Skewers at 9 Thai Van Lung, District 1. http://www.skewers-restaurant.com/
