To answer the dm’s about the cake, it’s a vegan zucchini cake with an almond yoghurt frosting and edible flowers 🌺 and this beautiful plate was handmade by the talented @yueky_ who handmade all of our beautiful ceramics. - When I was planning last night’s Eid dinner, I was determined to make it a success ... come hell and high water 😫... Our home has been through a huge transformation and I wanted to start opening it to visitors again, starting with my in-laws. I’ve been burning sage, saying prayers, sending positive desires into the universe to make everything come together for this day. I wanted this first Eid dinner in our home to be something special that would help us grow closer together and create what I truly want for all of us. That’s a lot of pressure to put on a dinner, but it did not disappoint! I believe in thinking things into existence. And wanting good things.
