Harry Potter and The Cursed Child 亦宣佈將會喺今年10月14日回歸倫敦Palace Theatre.
早前美國Broadway 版本已預告再演時將由原本兩部分合併成一個演出, 而英國版本並不受影響, 繼續係分成上下兩部分上演.
Harry Potter and The Cursed Child 係Harry Potter 系列嘅延續篇, 發生喺Harry 等人拯救Hogwarts 同魔法世界後嘅19年後. 幾位主角同佢哋下一代嘅故事.
【《安妮博林》選角之亂】黑人不能演英格蘭王后？ 那耶穌為何清一色白人演員？

近日，由英國第五台（Channel 5）製作的《安妮博林 Anne Boleyn》（2021）劇集成為社群熱點。但討論重點與作品本身好壞無關，而是因為片中的主角、16世紀的英格蘭王后安妮．博林，竟然找來牙買加裔的黑人演員茱蒂．透納-史密斯（Jodie Turner-Smith）主演。

搞「政治正確」（Political correctness）過頭的批評不絕於耳，對種族多元心存疑慮的右派認定這是為了迎合左派觀眾而做出的歷史竄改，因為在當年的時代背景，黑人不可能有稱后的機會，而依照史載，安妮博林本人也確實是不折不扣的白人。一些憤怒的觀眾於是聯手去電影資訊網IMDb洗評分，截至本文刊出前為止，該作僅獲1.2分。

過去幾年，類似的爭議一直都存在。舞台劇《哈利波特：被詛咒的孩子 Harry Potter and the Cursed Child》起用南非裔演員諾瑪／杜馬薇（Noma Dumezweni）飾演妙麗，但這是獲得了作者J. K. 羅琳（J. K. Rowling）本人親自背書，她指出作品本身本來就沒有刻意描寫人物的膚色，「找不任何理由不讓黑人飾演妙麗」。

迪士尼經典動畫《小美人魚 The Little Mermaid》的真人版改編，則是由美國黑人歌手荷莉．貝利（Halle Bailey）出演女主角愛麗兒。再次遭到許多影迷圍剿，不過小美人魚本來就是一個奇想的童話故事，美人魚也的確有可能是黑人，類似爭論族繁不及備載，這的確是基於時代之下的政治正確考量而進行的膚色轉換，但創作者都不至於「越線」，只會在虛構故事之中進行調整。

《安妮博林》的情況就完全不同了。安妮．博林是一名真實的歷史人物，如果主張這是一齣嚴謹的史實劇，片中除了奴僕之外的人物，理應不會出現黑人面孔。整個製作團隊、導演琳賽．米勒（Lynsey Miller）本人之所以會做出這項選擇⋯⋯⋯（全文詳見連結）

去年喺疫情期間為劇場業界籌款嘅The Show Must Go On, 為慶祝英國倫敦West End 演出相繼重開, 喺英國時間6月6日晚上7時 (British Summer Time), 即香港時間6月7日凌晨2點. 舉行THE SHOW MUST GO ON! - LIVE concert.
是次演出將會回歸West End 嘅The Palace Theatre 上演, 並於YouTube 進行直播. 當中包括18齣全球知名大作.

A day or two before our trip to London, Tim spontaneously told me that we are headed off to London. It took me by surprise because I couldn't think what the occasion it was for but nonetheless, I went with it. My sister in law bought us a fine dining experience at a restaurant called Petrus so I figured it was for that. He knew I'd been feeling a bit run down lately so thought a mini trip away would lift my spirits. We woke up around 4.30am to catch our flight as we had to be out of the house by 5am. I was of course looking like an armpit for the entire day not expecting much but had no idea that Tim had gotten tickets to see the Harry Potter & The Cursed Child play!!! I had been itching to watch this show since the day it was released but knew how difficult it was to get tickets. I was so touched that for the first time in a while, I cried happy tears. The show was a lot longer than I expected but definitely worth it. We LOVED it. Thank you for such an amazing time in London again, Bubba!!! We're so focused on Isaac these days and honestly, being able to completely focus on each other for those 2-3 days was just so nice. LOVE YOU!!
Oh another thing, I had no idea that Tim's occupation was such a mystery to you guys lol.
