จริง ๆ แล้ว 3D Printing หรือการพิมพ์ขึ้นรูปวัตถุแบบ 3 มิติ เริ่มทดลองใช้โดยนักประดิษฐ์ชาวญี่ปุ่นชื่อ Hideo Kodama ในช่วงต้นทศวรรษ 1980

หากสังเกตแล้ว การก่อสร้างแบบ 3D Printing วิธีการก่อสร้างนี้ มีหลายส่วนที่เป็นการแก้ไขจุดบกพร่องจากขั้นตอนการก่อสร้างแบบเดิม ๆ ยกตัวอย่างเช่น

จริงๆ แล้ว ข้าว ยาง และน้ำมัน ถือเป็นสินค้าโภคภัณฑ์ (Commodities) ที่เป็นวัตถุดิบพื้นฐานของคนทั่วโลก

โดยสินค้าโภคภัณฑ์จะมีองค์ประกอบที่สินค้าทั่วไปไม่มีก็คือ ความมีมาตรฐานกลางในการซื้อขาย และสินค้าเหล่านี้ก็จะมีการจัดประเภทอย่างชัดเจน

เช่น ข้าว ก็จะถูกแบ่งกลุ่มเป็น ข้าวขาว ข้าวหอมมะลิ ข้าวใหม่ ข้าวเก่า
หรือยางก็จะถูกแบ่งกลุ่มเป็น ยางแผ่น หรือยางแท่ง
โดยที่แต่ละกลุ่มย่อยก็ยังจะมีเกรดที่แตกต่างกันออกไป

ดังนั้นไม่ว่าสินค้าโภคภัณฑ์ดังกล่าวจะผลิตที่ไหน หรือใครเป็นผู้ผลิต

ที่แม้จะเป็นประเทศผู้ผลิตและส่งออกข้าว และยางพาราอันดับต้น ๆ ของโลก
แต่สุดท้ายเราก็ไม่มีความสามารถในการกำหนดราคาขายสินค้าเหล่านี้เลย นั่นเอง

แล้วคำถามสำคัญก็คือ
แล้วราคาสินค้าโภคภัณฑ์
ที่ขึ้น ลงอยู่ทุกวันนี้ มีผลมาจากอะไร?

คำตอบก็คือ ราคาของสินค้าโภคภัณฑ์จะมีความผันผวนไปตามความต้องการซื้อ ความต้องการขาย หรืออุปสงค์-อุปทาน (Demand – Supply) ตามหลักเศรษฐศาสตร์พื้นฐาน

ในสภาวะปกติ..
ถ้าความต้องการซื้อมากกว่าขาย สินค้าโภคภัณฑ์ก็จะมีราคาสูงขึ้น
ถ้าความต้องการขายมากกว่าซื้อ สินค้าโภคภัณฑ์ก็จะมีราคาลดลง

แต่ความเสี่ยงสามารถเกิดขึ้นได้ตลอดเวลา เช่น การถูกแทรกแซงจากประเทศมหาอำนาจ ความขัดแย้งทางการเมืองระหว่างประเทศ นโยบายทางการเงินต่างๆ ภัยธรรมชาติ หรือแม้แต่โรคระบาดที่เราเห็นกันในปีนี้

ตัวอย่างที่ทำให้เห็นภาพคือ ราคาทองคำ
เมื่อนักลงทุนเล็งเห็นถึงความผันผวนของสินทรัพย์เสี่ยงประเภทอื่น นักลงทุนส่วนใหญ่ก็จะโยกการลงทุนมาที่ทองคำ และเมื่อเกิดความต้องการซื้อมากกว่าขาย จึงทำให้ราคาทองคำทั่วโลกปรับสูงขึ้น

ในขณะที่ราคาน้ำมันกลับสวนทางเป็นขาลงเพราะช่วงที่เกิดวิกฤติโควิด 19 การเดินทางหยุดชะงักลงทั่วโลกพร้อมกับมีสงครามราคาน้ำมันระหว่างประเทศผู้ผลิตน้ำมันรายใหญ่ ทำให้การผลิตน้ำมันล้นเกินความต้องการ

เมื่อมีคนต้องการขายน้ำมันมากกว่าคนต้องการซื้อ ก็เลยเป็นผลทำให้ราคาน้ำมันปรับตัวลดลง

ดังนั้น จะเห็นว่าราคาสินค้าโภคภัณฑ์เหล่านี้เป็นไปตามกลไกตลาดโลกซึ่งเราไม่สามารถควบคุมได้ และต้องติดตามสถานการณ์ตลอดเวลาถ้าเราต้องใช้สินค้าเหล่านั้นในธุรกิจของเรา

อีกเรื่องที่สำคัญคือ ความก้าวหน้าของการซื้อขายสินค้าโภคภัณฑ์

ในอดีต สินค้าโภคภัณฑ์จำเป็นจะต้องซื้อขายกันโดยตรง
กินระยะเวลานานในการส่งมอบสินค้า และใช้เงินทุนในการขนส่งสูง

เรามาดูตัวอย่างสินค้าโภคภัณฑ์ที่มีปริมาณการใช้งานสูงสุดทั่วโลก นั่นก็คือน้ำมัน

เนื่องจากน้ำมันเป็นแหล่งพลังงานที่ใช้อยู่ทุกมุมโลก
ดังนั้น ในการซื้อขายจึงต้องมีการอ้างอิงราคาตลาดกลาง ซึ่งมักเป็นตลาดที่ใหญ่ที่สุดในบริเวณนั้น

โดยตลาดซื้อขายน้ำมันจะแบ่งประเภทออกเป็น 2 ชนิดคือ
1.ตลาดซื้อขายน้ำมันดิบ
2.ตลาดซื้อขายน้ำมันสำเร็จรูป

ตลาดซื้อขายน้ำมันดิบที่สำคัญในโลกมีอยู่ 3 แห่ง ดังต่อไปนี้

1.น้ำมันดิบดูไบ (Dubai) เป็นน้ำมันดิบจากแหล่งน้ำมันใต้ทะเลทรายในเอเชียตะวันออกกลาง

2.น้ำมันดิบเบรนท์ (Brent) แหล่งผลิตอยู่ในทะเลเหนือ (North Sea) หรือทะเลที่อยู่ระหว่างเกาะอังกฤษและคาบสมุทรสแกนดิเนเวีย

3.น้ำมันดิบดับบลิวทีไอ (WTI : West Texas Intermediate) เป็นน้ำมันดิบอ้างอิงที่สำคัญในทวีปอเมริกา

ส่วนตลาดการซื้อขายน้ำมันสำเร็จรูปก็มีหลายแห่งโดยแบ่งเป็นแหล่งสำคัญต่างๆตามแต่ละทวีปอย่าง อเมริกา ยุโรป และเอเชีย

สำหรับประเทศไทยเป็นประเทศที่นำเข้าทั้งน้ำมันดิบ และน้ำมันสำเร็จรูป ซึ่งส่วนใหญ่นำเข้ามาจากภูมิภาคเอเชียนั่นจึงเป็นเหตุผลที่ว่าประเทศไทยของเราอ้างอิงราคาน้ำมันตามทวีปเอเชีย นั่นก็คือที่ตลาดสิงคโปร์

เพราะประเทศไทย ตั้งอยู่ใกล้ประเทศสิงคโปร์ จึงอ้างอิงราคาน้ำมันสำเร็จรูปจากตลาดที่ประเทศสิงคโปร์ เนื่องจากเป็นประเทศส่งออกน้ำมันรายใหญ่ที่สุดในภูมิภาคเอเชีย และทำให้ราคาน้ำมันที่สิงคโปร์เป็นราคาซื้อขายน้ำมันระหว่างผู้ค้าน้ำมันในภูมิภาคนี้

นอกจากนี้ ประเทศไทยก็ยังมีสำนักงานนโยบายและแผนพลังงานภายใต้กระทรวงพลังงานเป็นหน่วยงานที่คอยกำหนดโครงสร้างราคาน้ำมันสำเร็จรูป เพื่อใช้เป็นกลไกของรัฐในการรักษาระดับราคาน้ำมันขายปลีกในประเทศ จึงทำให้ราคาน้ำมันในประเทศไทยอาจมีความแตกต่างจากราคาน้ำมันในภูมิภาคได้

จากเรื่องราวทั้งหมดนี้ จึงพอจะสรุปคอนเซ็ปต์การขึ้นลงของสินค้าโภคภัณฑ์ได้ว่า

Kuwait is an Asian country in the Middle East region.
Which is an abundance of oil resources.

In 2019, Kuwait had a GDP value of 4.3 trillion baht and a population of 4.4 million people.
Make GDP per capita of Kuwait population equal to 977,000 baht.
4 times more than GDP per head of Thai people.

Kuwait has an area of 17,818 square kilometers, which is about 30 times smaller than Thailand.

Despite being the world's 152th small country.
But Kuwait is the world's 6th most crude resource country.
And one of the country members who expired oil (OPEC)

Kuwait has a crude oil reserves up to 101,500 million barrels. This amount is estimated to be 6 % of the world's crude oil reserves.

If crude oil prices are around $ 40 per barrel, Kuwait's crude oil reserves will be worth 128 million baht.

When things are like this, it means
Oil resources are highly important to Kuwait economy.

Year 2019 Kuwait's crude export revenue is worth 1.5 trillion baht.

90 % of Kuwaiti government income is greatly reduced.

Make government spend money in country's reserve funds during the 3 months after COVID-19 outbreak. The fund has gone down to over 411,000 million baht.
