Located along Bussorah Street, Konditori Artisan Bakes is in the heart of the historic Kampong Glam district. The moment I opened the door, I was greeted with the heavenly smell of freshly baked, buttery pastries.
Konditori Artisan Bakes’ plain Butter Croissant was simply perfect. The croissant was flaky and buttery, with a great crunch and soft core. The pastry was slightly sweet, with a touch of saltiness coming through as well.
The Basil Pesto Sourdough came with generous amounts of toppings such as olives, tomatoes and halloumi cheese. I especially loved the halloumi cheese, which is something not often found on pastries. The cheese provided a nice texture and salty kick to the bread, making the sourdough even more satisfying. If you are a fan of baked goods and pastries, then Konditori Artisan Bakes on Bussorah Street is a must visit.
