I woke up like this 💯💫 Since my last post, people have been asking me why I got fillers. Swipe to see the before and after photos and you'll see what I mean by having a "runner face" (sorry runners 🏃♂️ 🏃♀️) I'm in my 30s so there comes a point in life you have to make a choice, pile on a few kg and you may not have a figure to show off in biking shorts, but you also won't have a face like a prune. A bit of fat on the face helps to pad it out a bit and keep lines and wrinkles at bay. My cheeks have been looking hollow recently and the effect made me sad when I took photos 😔 I've had full and chubby cheeks for the longest time so I miss them...
Everyone's skin loses volume and elasticity as you grow older but people like us who work out a lot pull and stretch our skin more so eventually, it's going to take its toll.
Giving up my daily workout isn't an option so I signed up for @sinclairpharma_apac Ellanse, a new derma filler which is made from a bio-absorbable collagen stimulator. This means it provides both instant and gradual results. I saw increased volume immediately (almost 2 weeks after treatment) but the volumisation and improved skin quality continue to develop over a 3 month period.
The other bonus is that Ellansé can be placed at different depth levels within the sub-dermal layers of the skin which makes it very versatile. It can be used for facial line improvement, to fill and correct wrinkles and folds, as well as volumising, contouring and sculpting the face.
All this may sound too good to be true, except that I am sitting here now, gazing at the results and they really are good. @dr.isaac.wong has put the chub back into my cheeks again! It’s subtle – but I look healthier, younger – and more cheerful. And I feel it, too.

what makes you feel sad 在 Yilianboy Facebook 的精選貼文
.

First of all, this article is too long for me to translate properly @@
So I will summarize it short and please forgive my grammar mistakes 😅
.
I was in my alma mater, Kaohsiung Senior High School, to give a speech to the students.
I shared with them my philosophy of life and suggest them follow their hearts, live in the present moment, do not regret.
.
I told students who majored in music, to keep enjoy in music and to work hard with their beloved musical instrument, but be brave to quit if this was not what they did enjoy in. Maybe they were forced by the society, parents or anything. Now is the most early time to save the rest of theirs youth from such a burden.
.
I knew they did listen carefully, that’s why they asked me some questions.
Many of them got the same question, which made me astonished and a bit sad,
“Do you think being a dentist with high income is the key enabling you to be engaged in your hobbies?”
Does this question mean they believe one’s income is more important than what one is interested in?
.
I cared about this question so much for one week after the speech.
And I asked their teacher to pass on to the cute and young, and maybe perplexed, students as following,
.
1.I’ve seen many people who are happy and successful. They are devoted to what they love and get money for living from it. He or she might be rich or poor, upper class or lower class, depending on the definition of the society, but their contentment and joy cannot be defined.
2. There are a lot of people with high income. Take dentists as an example, is every dentist looking for what he loves? Or happy? Healthy? I find my happiness from my hobbies, that’s why I share this with you. Dentistry should be shared by some dentist who are enthusiastic about dentistry, not me. I shared my occupation to you only because you are facing the college entrance timing..
3. Money is a part of our lives, a little part of our lives. Not the whole life, and not necessary either. We are richer than many people, and at the same time, poorer than many people. I would rather compare myself with those poorer than me, because that makes me feel better, and feeling is the most important thing for a person. When I compare myself with those rich men, I am nothing, I can’t afford a villa, a personal airplane, a yacht.
If we have a lot of water, we can fill a big pot. If we have little water, we can fill a thin glass and reach the same height of water level, which represents the degree of contentment.
Make clear who we are, and take our responsibility, and enjoy what we deserve.
There are different people for different places, apartments, condominium, mansion, villa, however, the common point of them are being a nice and safe cozy home.
.
If you want to get on a cruise ship, you can earn enough money for the ticket or get the job as a waiter on the ship.
When I couldn’t afford the fee for equestrian class, I worked in the stable and took care of the horses for an afternoon to get the chance to ride the horse for half an hour
.
May you kind and brave, enjoy the life with no regret

I feel sad that my friend Syed Azmi is being viciously cyber-bullied. I have worked with Mi on some cases and he's been very diligent and patient with my late night calls and has been a great mentor helping me with Humarap and the work I do with single mothers and babies.
When MoM and Humarap set up a Kitafund last year to help the vulnerable communities and children in Sabah, I set the fundraiser to RM20,000. The moment I shared it, he rang and asked for more info. It wasn't too long before PUAKPayong, an NGO that he spearheads, transferred the total amount. I then raised it to RM50K and with the help of other kindred souls, we hit the target and more.
Reading some of the nasty and unconstructive comments with regards to #JusticeForBella makes me ponder about the actual intention of some individuals. The word JUSTICE has strayed from the main concern in ensuring the best interest of the teen, is safeguarded.
He may have overlooked, he may have been seen as not being persistent enough, but I can assure you, he is NEVER malicious and I know this for a fact.
He has helped many, many people. I've been privy to some of the sensitive cases he has to deal with and as an observer from the side taking notes whilst he conducts these one on ones, I see compassion and perseverance in standing up for the most needful in the society.
Picking up from a conversation with another friend who knows Mi personally too, I echo her sentiments.
"He did what he did, said what he thought, without even insinuating anyone when there were many times he could have, even now. When he attempted to share his side of story, not just he was unfairly adjudicated, bits and pieces were extracted and used against him with no mercy, without looking at those excerpts in totality."
Azmi has newly acquired knowledge in criminal justice, so he spoke with greater caution than before, not mentioning names, not giving minute details as all these may have negative repercussions on the investigation process.
Let's hope Bella's assailants will be successfully prosecuted because too much have been out in the media which may be detrimental to the case - potential witness statements out in the public; documents and evidence likewise.
"People forget, burden of proof in a criminal case is beyond reasonable doubt. Chain of evidence must be absolutely intact to secure conviction."
And that is why I hope the dialogue for wanting justice can progress into something that will help. Let's encourage other witnesses to have the courage to tell their stories with accuracy to strengthen the case. Let us mount pressure to not just get legal procedures done swiftly, but to also ensure other caretakers of shelter homes do what they were entrusted to do - to take care of the being of the residents of their home...and more.

I will come big and "XL"
staytuned. ?
Don't be afraid to let your TRUE self show.
True colors are beautiful.. like a rainbow :)
You with the sad eyes
Don't be discouraged, oh I realize
It's hard to take courage
In a world full of people
You can lose sight of it all
The darkness inside you
Can make you feel so small
Show me a smile then
Don't be unhappy
Can't remember when
I last saw you laughing
This world makes you crazy
And you've taken all you can bear
Just call me up
'Cause I will always be there
And I see your true colors
Shining through
I see your true colors
And that's why I love you
So don't be afraid to let them show
Your true colors
True colors are beautiful

聖誕歌Jingle Bell Rock 聖誕歌弦樂四重奏 | String Quartet Medley by Violins by Alphonse Chen and Lin Tzu An, Viola by Pan Tzu Chi and Cello by Wu Yo Yo of Jingle Bell Rock

Its Christmas Eve tonight🎅🏼
On Christmas Eve last year, my lovely string quartet partners finally busked together, and this year we come here together at my channel to cover the Christmas carol.
We are all a bit down because of the pandemic this year, and what makes me sad is the seemingly endless rain in Taipei. But hey this is the month of Christmas. So I made this cover, trying to cheer up those who feel the same.
When making the cover for Christmas last year, I think we all had no idea of how miserable our 2020 would be. However, after experiencing all these shitty things this year, I kind of realize that even you don’t feel like celebrating holidays at all, or even you know clearly that these are all commercial and have been overly commercialized, it's still quite meaningful to have the celebrating rituals somehow, so as to appreciate tiny things in life, to appreciate our abilities to love others and to be loved🥰
(Last but not least, I must shout out that its soooooooo good living in Taiwan where we struck a nerve for reported the first domestic case in 253 days (from April 12). Though the awesome record was broken few days ago, it does not change the fact that Taiwan is incredibly great.)
Have wonderful holidays everyone 🎄🎁
