【台灣將為守護民主價值奮戰到底】
外交部吳部長接受德國媒體「編輯網絡」專訪，說明 #中國對台威脅、#台海情勢、#德國派軍艦至南海、#台灣爭取參與國際組織 等議題。
吳部長表示台德雙方為 #理念相近夥伴，共同捍衛民主、自由及人權等普世價值。今年G7與NATO峰會聯合公報上，德國對 #中國的軍事擴張行動表達關切。對於德國將派軍艦至南海，吳部長表示此舉符合也落實德國的 #印太方針政策，也對該區域理念相近國家發出信號，#台灣樂見德國積極投入印太事務。
面對中國持續擴張的威脅，吳部長表示：台灣政府堅定捍衛民主，也會為 #守護民主價值奮戰到底。
MOFA Minister Joseph Wu was recently interviewed by veteran journalist Matthias Koch from #Germany's RND - RedaktionsNetzwerk Deutschland, touching on the rising tension across the #TaiwanStrait, the authoritarian threat undermining peace and stability in the #IndoPacific region, the recent deployment of a German warship to the #SouthChinaSea and #Taiwan’s participation in international organizations.
In response to news of the deployment of the Bayern frigate, Minister Wu stated that the move was not only in accord with the Indo-Pacific Guidelines, given the concern Germany expressed at China's military expansionism in this year's G7 and NATO communiques, but was also a signal to #LikeMinded countries of the substance behind these statements of concern.
Despite being a country on the front-line of the battle against authoritarian expansionism, Minister Wu added, “Taiwan will prevail, because democracy will prevail.”
