▼ 1. David Lynch 明年開拍 Netflix 劇集

《Twin Peaks 雙峰》的粉絲在一份業界刊物 Production Weekly 上頭發現了一個秘而不宣的拍攝計畫：導演 David Lynch 默默預約了明年5月洛杉磯某攝影棚的檔期，準備開拍暫名為《Wisteria》的神秘 Netflix 劇集。不論 Netflix 或是 Lynch 本人對於該計畫都還沒有隻字片語。雙方先前唯一的合作是今年年初 Netflix 上架了Lynch 2017年的短片《What Did Jack Do?》。

▼ 2. Netflix 開始在英法等國家乖乖報稅

就像對多數善於避稅的跨國科技公司，Netflix 過去都會把歐洲各國賺來的錢用各種成本分攤的名義灌回稅率極低的荷蘭總部，減少在各國實際繳納的稅賦。英國稅務監督組織 TaxWatch 說 Netflix 光2018年一年五鬼搬運了2.5~3.3億英鎊的費用到荷蘭，甚至使該公司當年因而在英國得到退稅。隨著各國政府紛紛盯上這些偷雞摸狗的手段，Netflix 在過去一週迅速回應，分別在西班牙、法國和英國等三個市場宣佈會將本地用戶的月租費收入就地申報繳稅，不再回繳荷蘭總部。此舉將使那些吃相更難看的美國企業比如 Facebook、Google 和 Amazon倍感壓力。

著名的百老匯記者/劇評 Michael Riedel 在本文中回顧了過去120年百老匯見過的大風大浪：從大蕭條、愛滋病到911，每一次都對百老匯產業產生巨大衝擊，但百老匯終究還是重新站起來、繼續前進。如今，這個雇用9萬人、每年為紐約創造20億美元產值的產業正在經歷120年來最長的演出中斷。不同於好萊塢電影擁有多個管道的通路，實體聚集數百、數千人的劇院幾乎是他們唯一的通路。因此唯有疫苗真正發揮作用之後，百老匯的劇院才有可能繼續承載他們的內容產品。作者認為這一次百老匯終會復原，只是可能需要更長的時間來復原，而且必須打破既有的定價策略、建立一套新的財務模式，才有可能吸引觀眾回流。天價門票的時代已經過去了。
