Spent this day with Alex Zhang Hungtai exploring his childhood neighborhoods in various parts of Taipei, Taiwan.

I've known Alex since 2014, and the times we've met, we're always talking about the asian diaspora, "the feeling of being a permanent foreigner." What is home? Where is home? This sense of never quite belonging to one particular place... And the older I get now, the more I embrace this unique feeling of being of everywhere.

1] break course record by 3 minutes - 邱文孝 Wen Hsiao Chiu - 9:42:51 🏆
2] add 3 person (total 5, only two Taiwanese) finished sub 10hours (+周平記)
3] third fastest foreigner in history - Cory Lewandowski - 9:58:34 🌎 (well trained and knowing any detail of course as sweeper in 2017 and 2018 )

last but not least
4] Female course record was smashed by 64minutes
Eszter Csillag (Hungarian living in HK) - 10:38:08, two hours ahead of second woman.
She flight from HK to Taiwan literary for 24hours, letting her 👶 toddler first time without her. In Formosa Trail 2017 drop from 104k to 40km due to pregnancy. No easy life of active mothers 👪

First in Men Open, First Malaysian and First Overall and a New Course Record on this Morning @kltowertowerthon

Started off with a Second Overall in 2017, Fourth Overall in 2018, and now I am the First Overall in @kltowertowerthon

Very happy to come back first with the time of 9:08 minutes (new course: 200m + 2058 steps)

I always want to achieve First Overall as in the past few years there were no Malaysian claim the Overall No. 1 as we lost to Foreigner (Kenyan). I knew after 2017, I have to do something for my country Malaysia to claim the First Overall.

I would like to apologize after last year as I failed to achieve First Overall due to over confident and then things went wrong. On this morning, I know today is the day and I am much more stronger compare to where I was two years ago.

Throughout the 2058 steps, I am in the flow, I have just one thing in my mind: "Channel all my focus onto the beat, and believe it, I will win the race!"

Thanks to my parent waking up early morning and came to the race site and support me. Thanks @ravin1618 for coming and cheer for me and be the photographer to take my first photo after I come back down from the top. Thanks man!
