会えなかったけど、思い出すとすぐそこにいたような気がする。
湖がキラキラと優しい声で囁いていて、静かに深呼吸をすると透明な緑が心を軽くしてくれた。
雲と同じ高さに足を浸して空をそっとかき混ぜる。
地球に溶けていくみたいに。

フィンランドの白夜の夕焼けは長い時間をかけて空を瑠璃色に変えていく。
23時を過ぎても暗闇にはならない。
時間の感覚はどんどん狂っていくのに、まっすぐ見つめてくるみたいな光の洪水に心が洗われていく。
湖面は鏡みたいに空を映し、木々が影絵みたいにざわざわ揺れる。
妖精がいるならきっとこんな場所だろうな。ムーミンが生まれた理由がよくわかった。
いつかぼくも会えるだろうか。
もしかしたらぼくに優しくしてくれたフィンランドの人たちの中に、もう一人くらい妖精がいたかもしれないな。
思い当たる人がいっぱいいて幸せな気持ちになる。
この気持ちが妖精の正体かもしれないね。
