We recently had the pleasure of attending the official star-studded product launch of Goodnite's Love Series. The range exude a luxurious feel and are very pleasing to the eye. 「閒暇者的忙碌凝視」展覽畫作
畫作的一開始是從2015年的秋天
當時覺得想用比較熟悉的人物畫展開一系列的個人畫作
又在讀完從美國博物館帶回的馬提斯相關書籍
更想創作更多相關靈感的作品
與其說是表現女性的優雅姿態
更多是在幻想她們外表底下的一些極端
再用鮮豔的配色畫面送給她們一些荒謬的歡樂氣氛
使用顏料是熟悉的高級霧面壓克力
畫在特別訂製的木盒上
因為無論是畫的過程和最後展示對我來說木盒都很好上手也很有份量
最後會再噴上霧面保護漆在完成的畫作上
無論你看到的是美、醜、詭異、搞笑還是莫名其妙
都是你們互相凝視的過程或結果

"The Idler's Hasty Gaze" solo exhibition
I started this series of paintings since fall 2015
I was trying to study more about figurative and portraits painting at the moment by reading Henri Matisse books bought from museums and online book stores. At the same time I was practicing painting them, too.
I made the women figures posing in an elegant way not only to explain feminist but also to speak about the discrepancy between their static external and their extreme mind
Adding opaque and colorful palette to exaggerate their ridiculous pleasure in the paintings.
I painted them by using Acryla series matte finish acrylic gouache colors on customized wood panels because they are my favorite combination for painting process and installation
and finished with matte surface coat
