南京東路分店吃過覺得一般，所以還是要來有兩星的總店把味道試真。
雖然招牌大菜如焗蟹蓋龍蝦海蔘的價錢合理，但要把味道試真還是選擇一些傳統粵菜。
粵菜通常晚上不吃點心但爲了比較全面，還是要試試看。晚上選擇不多，所以只點了三款：蝦餃，焼賣，七味豆腐。整體味道不錯但沒有很驚喜。
欖角龍躉頭腩油份和醬油味比較多而肉比我預期小。龍蝦泡飯米不夠脆，湯算清甜但如果更鮮會更好。
把整餐大大加分有兩道菜。脆皮先知鴨皮不單脆而且酥，鴨偏瘦但肉夠嫩。加上微微的薰烤味，冷了也很好吃。
另一道咕嚕肉是幾乎每一間酒樓都會有的菜式。已試過無數個地方包括香港傳統名店如福記，七福，國福，鏞記，陸羽，生記，星記等等但只有這裡做的能跟五稜會比較。在上海我完全可以為了這道菜定期回來。
如果來吃的話建議這兩道菜必點！
另外要注意的是這𥚃菜的量偏小，可以多點多吃幾樣。
蠻有趣的觀察但不知對不對：可能米其林密探在考核時沒有上廁所，這餐廳洗手間的衛生情況是我去過世界各地所有兩星餐廳𥚃最不像星級餐廳的水平的一間。

I have visited the Nanning East Road branch and found it average， so paying a visit to this two star Michelin main shop is a must in order to give my final verdict.
I’ll leave the star chasers to go for those eye-catching big dishes like the baked stuff crab shell, lobster and sea cucumber, while I want to try the traditional basic dishes in order to feel the true taste of the restaurant.
Usually for real Cantonese cuisine, we don’t eat dim sum in the evening, but as the restaurant is famous for its dim sum and in order to be more well rounded, I still need to try a few main ones. Selection for evening is less so I order three usual ones: Prawn dumplings, pork dumplings and deep fried tofu. Overall taste is good but not wow. Steamed Dragon Find Head with Chinese Olives was a tad too much oil and taste of soy sauce, with less meat than I expected. For the crispy rice in lobster soup, the rice could be crispier and the seafood taste of the lobster soup can be more intense.
There were two dishes which really elevated the whole taste experience.
The crispy baby duck was not just crispy but also feels like the skin melts in your mouth. Though the duck is lean, the meat is tender. Adding to the slight smokiness, the duck tasted very well even when it got cold.
Sweet and sour pork is almost always exist in all Cantonese restaurants. I have tried numerous places especially the famous ones in HK, I find that only this place can compare with Sports Club in HK for this dish. In Shanghai, I’d always could back regularly for this dish.
For those who are planing to visit this restaurant, I strongly recommend you try these two dishes.
Portion of each dish is a bit small here, so you can order and try more dishes.
Interesting observation but don’t know if it’s true: I guess the ‘discreet’ Michelin evaluator probably didn’t go to the washroom when he/she dine at the restaurant, as I find the hygiene standard of this restaurant is the least most resemblance of a starred restaurant compare to all the two star restaurants around the world.

[DRIFTER • LIKE YOU DO ]

Part One: The 1st Dimension - DRIFTER

Music has always been an expression of self for JJ. His journey of self-discovery could be traced back to his From M.E. To Myself (2015) album, with him eventually finding the connection between himself and the world, and shared through his Message in a Bottle (2017) album.

In the recent years, JJ embarked on a different route to self-discovery as he shifts the focus of his music from self to “you”. Conveyed through his double EP DRIFTER • LIKE YOU DO, JJ propounds a new direction for self-reflection.

DRIFTER EP features six brand new Mandarin songs that weaved together a complete concept of: What would you do, if you, were not just you? The songs inspire us to contemplate the possibility that our consciousness could determine who we are - there could be multiple endings to every story, and when we believe so, the future will be limitless.

Part Two: The 2nd Dimension - LIKE YOU DO

An extension of Drifter, LIKE YOU DO explores a self-examining concept: What is left after you rid yourself of expectations?

When darkness descends, have you, in pursuit of survival, stumbled upon another version of yourself that is so foreign yet familiar? You could be that drifter, that is the only glimpse of hope left in a despondent world. Which version of you would emerge in face of adversity? If a parallel universe does exist, JJ is breaking out of his shell and introducing the hidden version of himself that we have yet to meet via LIKE YOU DO.

Partnered with new music collaborators Fernando Garibay, Nasri Atweh, Joshua Kissiah Cumbee, Ramiro Padilla and Daniel Padilla, JJ endeavours to offer fresh perspectives and sounds for this EP.

The journey and story of this alternate JJ Lin has just begun.

[Kappa]
In Japan, there are sprites called "Kappa". It looks like mix between a human child and a frog. On it's back is the shell of a turtle, it has webbed fingers, and a dish on it's head. A "Kappa" will die if it spills all the water from the dish on it's head.
It lives in rivers and marshes, and likes to surprise and tease humans and animals that pass by. They are also said to play with children.
Even now, Kappa sightings are not uncommon, although there are still many people who claim that Kappa do not exist.
In this video, the Kappa is represented as a fun sprite who plays drums alongside a young girl.

■ 河童 Kappa, Water Imp
日本には河童という妖怪がいる。その風貌は人間の子供と蛙を掛け合わせたようで、背中には亀の甲羅、手には水かき、頭には水をたたえた皿がある。皿の中の水が干上がると死んでしまうという。川や沼などの水辺に棲み、近くを通る人や馬にいたずらをしたり、子供と遊ぶこともあると言われる。現代でも河童を見たという目撃談は多く、実際に生息する動物ではないかとも考えられている。本作の河童も水辺に棲み、人間と共に太鼓を打ち鳴らすという、身近な存在として描かれている。
