How is my 4/5 months old baby @meregoround going to Primary school in just 3 months..? 😭😭😭 Time is really a.. Strange thing.

I had kept the kids home (away from school) everytime the numbers surge and i think Meredith is feeling the fatigue of that. This time round she tells me she will be extra careful and hope she can continue to go to school like her friends. She say she don't wanna miss any practice for her graduation skit and dance filming..

At first it was still a "sorry Meredith, i don't think so.." but later i realise.. She's no longer a baby. And Josh is also supportive of her request so.. She's right now in school..

I guess with enough time, we all get used to things. Good things, bad things. With time, good things become normal things and bad things..? They become normal things too.

Time is a strange but amazing thing.

At least i can say for sure, with time, my chunky unibrow baby here has turn into a 6 year old fine young lady who is very very sensible ❤️

I have a confession.

I can't put my baby down for naps. I nv could from the day she was born.

When Layla was just born, she had so much trouble napping. She'd only nap for 5mins a day, sometimes none at all. During my confinement period, it was my CN who'd put her down for nap. I took the time to rest while she napped. After she left, my helper took over. Over time, Layla got use to it and would only associate her to naps. My helper became her sleep prop. When she was younger, we would sometimes nap together with her latching on me. But now, she doesnt even want to do that anymore. She's ok with me at night, but nv in the day. When my helper goes on leave, She'd be sooo tired but refuse to sleep. The only way is to put her in a carrier and walk ard until she's asleep.

Frankly, im really bummed about it. My insecurities surfaced. I feel like I'm not good enough. I question my ability as a mother.

What mother can't put their baby to sleep?

I kept telling Deon that i wanna retrain her, so that she associates me to nap. But that also means i have to put her through distress when she's already found a sweet routine. He also said that eventually when she starts school, she will need to learn to sleep on her own. But, can i wait tt long when i feel so stressed wherever my helper goes on leave?

I question myself... do i want to retrain her for my ego or for real practical reason. I don't have the answer.

I know it's so silly to condemn myself for this one thing when i do so well in almost everything else.

Motherhood brings out underlying issues in a woman that you never knew existed.
Fellow moms, if u think ive got it altogether bcos i always look so happy and collected in my ig. Think again. I'm really just a regular mom with my regular insecurities.

A few years ago, when news broke about the Jussie Smollett assault case, I chose to err on the side of caution and believed what he was saying, until I saw proof that made it apparent he was lying. I am not ashamed that even though I was wrong, I chose to give him the benefit of the doubt, first. That's the kind of person I want to be. Because I don't think I could live with myself, if his claims turned out to be true, and all I had for him was doubt and ridicule.

But I have a lot of friends here, many of whom have been victims of racially motivated attacks, hate crimes and even sexual assaults. And the first thing they see, when they gather the courage to speak out against their assailants should not be, "Nah that never happened," or worse, "You're just seeking attention."

I guess that's how I feel about Meghan Markle right now. She basically just told the world that she's harbored thoughts of ending her own life because of what she's been put through by her own family, and her husband's, especially. And the response from people is dubiousness. We've seen irrefutable evidence of how the British tabloids have been dreadful to her. And please don't insult my intelligence by telling me it had nothing to do with the fact that they are racist. Yet everybody feels so easy to dismiss her claims.

Slimy lowlife degenerate Piers Morgan stormed off the set of Good Morning Britain today because he couldn't stand to be confronted about his rampant sexism and racism. He found the experience to be so traumatic that he had to remove himself from the situation. But when Harry and Meghan, the very people he constantly attacks, remove themselves from a traumatic situation, they're being ungrateful and disloyal to the Royal family?

Whether you think she's a gold digger, an attention-seeker or a fake or whatever other ridiculous assumptions you wanna make about her, I think we can agree that she's going through a very rough time. Yet most people would rather believe the gaslighting words of the gossip-mongering rags. And yes, many of you who are making these unfounded, vilifying presumptions about her still insist it not because you are racist. I bet a bunch of you didn't even wait to watch the Oprah Winfrey special - you've probably drawn your negative conclusions about this Mulatto, the minute you heard that she had the audacity to marry a white prince.

Why wouldn't she want to go, UNPAID, on Oprah to tell her side of the story?

Also, stop treating The Daily Mail like it's the paragon of journalistic integrity.
