台南東陽外籍生Ryland感受台灣老師幸福感

臺南市學甲區東陽國小九月間透過南臺科技大學TEEP計畫媒合，邀請美國外籍生Ryland進駐，熱情又活潑Ryland為學生講故事，跟著學生操作空拍機，小朋友也透過平板紀錄與Ryland老師的互動點滴，並幫他按摩以及擁抱，讓Ryland感受到在臺灣身為老師的幸福感。
東陽國小校長蔡淑芬表示，為讓學童在生活中轉化英語能量，透過不同管道，接待外籍國際志工，在校園中透過自然的課程與生活互動，讓學童勇敢並有意願與外籍人士接觸開口說英語。蔡淑芬說，九月間到學校的國際志工Ryland喜歡台灣的民主風氣和文化，因此選擇來台南當老師，由於Ryland很熱情，隨即與師生打成一片，除到低年級教室說英語故事聽外，也跟著小朋友操作空拍機，中秋節還與學校教師採柚子過中秋，接待家庭也帶著Ryland到南庄露營並走訪府城體驗小吃。
Ryland表示，臺灣人很親切，兩個月來他的中文進步很多，很多小朋友也喜歡找他聊天，中文和英文穿插用再加上比手畫腳，這樣也會通啦，生活過得很愜意與充實。
四年級學生謝喨宇說，國際志工Ryland到學校後，因他很活潑又情，與他沒有距離，看到他很自然就開口說英文了，雖然講得不流利，但總是敢開口說英文了。遇到不會的英文就用中文。
蔡淑芬強調，透過教育部TEEP「優秀外國青年來台蹲點計畫」，學生和美國外籍在異國時空下相遇，都為彼此留下美好的外語學習及文化體驗回憶。

Still, I was shocked to find that I could buy a complete outfit for less than $15. and that $1500 outfit? Let's just say I had to go a little bit over budget to complete the look.
