1. I do not think the problem of gender equality exists from the bottom of my heart.

中研院參與由美國國家醫學院(National Academy of Medicine, NAM) 發起的「#健康長壽大挑戰計畫(Healthy Longevity Global Grand Challenge Competition)」經數月審查,#廖俊智院長 昨(15)日晚上8時與美、英等國跨國連線,向全球學研機構宣布臺灣5組獲獎團隊!
每組獲獎團隊可以獲得5萬美元繼續發展研究題目,爭取第二階段研究資金。並將受邀出席明(2021)年9月於美國舉行的創新高峰會,與世界各合作單位、相關學者及研究人員、投資者以及創新者一同分享交流研究成果。
Academia Sinica has joined forces with the global community in the Healthy Longevity Grant Challenge Competition initiated by the US National Academy of Medicine. We support the spirit highlighted by this Competition to promote breakthrough innovations that lead to paradigm-shift discoveries to prevent or cure diseases, increase quality of life, and minimize the negative impacts of an aging population.
In 2020, the call for the Catalyst Award received 118 proposals with a broad coverage of disciplines, ranging from diagnosis and management of diseases, development of medical devices to policy-making. Five awardees were selected after a double-blind review process.

錯過上次報名時間的研發團隊也無須扼腕,因為好消息是2021年的第一階段催化創新獎計畫徵求即將於今(2020)年11月再度展開。因應目前全球疫情影響,此次徵求重點將納入「疾病的預防和管理」和「疫情下之因應措施」等相關主題。

To add economic value to long term countries
When it's like this, it's impossible to guess that EECi must be a source of scientists and good engineers.
Let's combine research materials to top up new industries with advanced technologies.

EECi has another mission to innovate modern agriculture research. Modern Farming

Because if we don't hurry up to do it today.. in the future, we may be a country left behind.
It's hard to run a world that is changing so fast.
In the past, Thai research results invented at laboratory level, there are still limited to developing manufacturing processes to forward to useful users. We have weaknesses that are not invested in infrastructure and mechanism to expand research. And another side can't take much advantage of foreign advanced technology. Because of lack of infrastructure and mechanism to support technology adaptation to Thai context.
In the future, EECi would be an important infrastructure and mechanism of the country to shut down the weaknesses in this matter..

同時,去年司法院邀集學者專家組成《憲法訴訟法》研修會議,同樣確立「立法委員總額四分之一得聲請釋憲」結論。然而,司法院最後在政治壓力下,卻背棄專業的黑箱大轉彎,將聲請釋憲立法委員總額提高為「三分之一」,令人遺憾。
更離譜的是,迄今司法院仍無法交出研修小組會議紀錄,也拒絕回應司法院背棄專業之決策過程。
