紓緩肩頸痛
適合經常使用電腦人士
做法:
1. 坐在有高靠背的椅子上,將按摩球放在上背部與椅子之間,以背部慢慢滾動按摩球,如遇到痛點可持續按壓約1分鐘,其餘位置滾動約3分鐘。
2. 靠牆站立,雙膝向下微曲,將按摩球放在提肩胛肌,向後用力壓牆約1分鐘。左手踭提起然後放下,重覆約3-5次,換另一邊提肩胛肌重覆動作。
紓緩足底筋膜炎
適合長期站立或步行的上班族,或經常跑步、行山人士
做法:靠牆或椅子旁邊,將按摩球放在足弓下,腳趾向下及下屈曲,以身體重量壓下,移動腳板慢慢將球滾到痛點,持續按壓約1分鐘。將球由腳跟滾到腳趾,重覆約2分鐘,換另一隻腳重覆動作。

DIY massage
Sometimes when we experience soreness on the neck or waist, we might want to have a massage to relieve the discomfort. The only thing that is stopping us is the price we have to pay for each session.
Have you tried giving yourself a massage? All you need is a massage ball. Even a tennis or golf ball can work as well. By rolling and pressing the ball against your body, you can relieve the tension on the muscles and improve the circulation of the blood in areas like your neck and your back in the most economical way. If pain persists, do consult medical experts.
To relieve pain in the neck and shoulders
Suitable for: individuals who regularly use the computer
Method:
1. Sit on a high-back chair and place the massage ball between the back and the chair. Start rolling the ball against the chair by moving the back of your body. Roll and press the ball against the area of discomfort for about 1 minute and complete the entire session in 3 minutes.
2. Lean against the wall and bend your knees. Place the massage ball on the levator scapula and press it against the wall for about 1 minute. Then, raise your left hand and put it down. Repeat the same steps 3-5 times. Repeat the same steps for the other side of your levator scapula.
Relieve the jogger's heel (Plantar fasciitis)
Suitable for: individuals who stand or walk for a long time or those who enjoy jogging and hiking
Method: Lean against a wall or the side of a chair and place the massage ball beneath the arch of the foot. Curl the toes downward and exert pressure on the ball using the weight of the body. Roll the ball with the foot sole and massage the pain area for about 1 minute. Then roll the ball from the heel to the toes, and repeat the steps for about 2 minutes. Repeat the same steps for the other foot.

ALL’S WELL THAT ENDS WELL…
This gentleman flew in from Hong Kong with a “heel spur syndrome” which he had been putting up with for more than a year. Describing the pain of his heel spurs and plantar fasciitis as a knife or pin sticking into the bottom of his left foot when he first stands up in the morning, he complained that the sharp pain often returned whenever he stands up after sitting for a prolonged period of time.
Thanks to Tit Tar .Master Chris Leong, who was conducting CLM treatment sessions as part of DELLYMPICS Charity Event over two-days at Setia Spice Arena in Bagan Baru.
“The procedure was rather agonising but now I am ecstatic, “he said, adding he was amazed by the skills of the Master in treating the heel spur, using the traditional method.
What is a HEEL SPUR?
A heel spur occurs when calcium deposits build up on the underside of the heel bone, a process that usually occurs over a period of many months. It is frequently associated with plantar fasciitis, a painful inflammation of the fibrous band of connective tissue (plantar fascia) that runs along the bottom of the foot and connects the heel bone to the ball of the foot.
If left untreated the fatty deposits on the heel can become damaged and erode causing further complications.

With Keith Van Horn sidelined and Allen Iverson playing poorly, the Houston Rockets took advantage against the Philadelphia 76ers.
Yao Ming had 20 points and 13 rebounds as the Rockets defeated
Philadelphia 88-79 Friday night.
Iverson, playing with left knee bursitis, missed 19 of his 23 shots, including his final 16, and finished with just eight points -- all in the first quarter. He wasn't fouled and missed his only free throw.
The Sixers lost Van Horn to a foot injury in the second quarter.
An MRI revealed a strained plantar fascia and bone bruise. Van Horn
will be day-to-day.
"When you play so many games, you are going to have one of
these nights,'' Iverson said. "I struggled mentally and
physically. I just couldn't get on track. I just want to forget
this one.''
Iverson, who had his knee drained before the game, isn't sure if he'll play against Sacramento on Sunday.
"There's no way I can play like this,'' Iverson said. "I'm going to have to sit out. My wife didn't think I should play tonight, but I was stubborn. It didn't bother me before the game, but it got worse as the game went on.''
James Posey added 19 points and 12 rebounds as the Rockets moved
within one game of Phoenix for the final playoff spot in the
Western Conference.
"We're going to have to play like this every night,'' Posey
said. "We're still in the thick of things.''
Kenny Thomas had 17 points and 10 rebounds and Eric Snow added
17 points for the Sixers, who had their three-game winning streak
snapped and dropped to 20-6 since the All-Star break. The Sixers
are 1½ games behind first-place New Jersey in the Atlantic Division.
Houston, which trailed by 11 at halftime, scored the first 10
points of the fourth quarter, taking a 73-64 lead. Cuttino Mobley
began the run with a turnaround jumper and ended it with another
turnaround shot.
After the Sixers got within 73-68, the Rockets put it away with
a 12-4 run. Posey's third 3-pointer made it 82-72, and a 3-pointer
by Mobley gave Houston its biggest lead, 85-72, with 3:30 left.
"The significance of this game isn't just moving up in the standings,'' Yao said through his interpreter. "It was big for our spirits.''
Iverson, having perhaps his best all-around season, had averaged
30.8 points and 9.4 assists in his previous five games. But the
three-time NBA scoring champion couldn't find his shooting touch
all night. He had six assists.
"If AI is going to miss 16 straight, we're in trouble,'' Sixers coach Larry Brown said. "We didn't have anybody who could make a shot.''
A 16-4 run in the third quarter gave the Rockets a 60-58 lead.
The Rockets made six straight free throws before Steve Francis hit
a 17-foot jumper to tie it at 58. Francis then made another
17-footer to put Houston ahead by two.
The Sixers took a 40-29 lead following a 14-4 run midway through
the second quarter. Aaron McKie and Derrick Coleman hit consecutive
3-pointers during the spurt and Coleman closed it with a 20-foot
jumper.

Not one to stay stuck in the moment, Taj Gibson insisted he'll let this one go no matter how tempting it might be to hold onto it.
The rookie tied a career high with 20 points and had 13 rebounds, and the Chicago Bulls used a big first-half run to beat the Philadelphia 76ers 122-90 on Saturday night for their fourth straight victory.
"You're only as good as your last game," Gibson said.
And this one was quite impressive. He hit 9 of 14 shots and fed off newcomer Hakim Warrick in another eye-opening performance from a rookie whose emergence made the departed Tyrus Thomas expendable.
"He's such a good kid," coach Vinny Del Negro said. "He is very coachable. He wants to learn and is always working. I like some of the passes that he and Hakim made to each other. They worked well against the zone."
And they had plenty of help.
Derrick Rose scored 17 points to help the Bulls set a season high for points. So did Kirk Hinrich, who also buried three 3-pointers to give him 773 in his career and break a tie with Ben Gordon for the club record.
Warrick had a highlight reel dunk over Thaddeus Young that "got me going" and finished with 15 points. Brad Miller scored eight of his 15 during a 23-1 run to close the second half, turning a three-point deficit into a 58-39 lead and sending Chicago to his sixth win in seven games. The Bulls set a team record for fewest turnovers with four while dishing out 26 assists.
"They were finding the open man, just making the right plays," the Sixers' Allen Iverson said.
Andre Iguodala led Philadelphia with 23 points. Young scored 17 points, but the Sixers went 8:14 without a field goal during a drought that spanned the second and third quarters in their most lopsided loss this season while falling for the third time in four games.
"We couldn't hit shots and we couldn't get stops," Iguodala said.
They were leading 38-35 after Iguodala hit two free throws with 5:19 left in the first half.
And then?
Miller put back his own miss and led the charge as the Bulls scored 21 straight before Young hit 1 of 2 free throws with 35 seconds left. Miller added a layup, hit 2 of 3 free throws after getting fouled on a 3 and buried two more foul shots.
And after Young's free throw, Rose drove for a layup in closing seconds to make it a 19-point game at halftime, and he started the third with a buzzer-beating 3-pointer. Hinrich then hit one of his own to make it 64-39 and give him 701 in his career, putting him ahead of Gordon.
"I don't feel like I shoot a lot of 3s," Hinrich said. "I just take them when it's available."
Iverson finally hit a fadeaway jumper for the Sixers' first field goal since Rodney Carney's put-back with 6:59 left in the first half, but the Bulls continued to pour it on for their second straight lopsided home win.
They beat the Knicks by 33 on Tuesday and followed up wins at New York and Minnesota with another impressive showing against a struggling Sixers team. With the next two games against Washington and Indiana, Chicago has a chance to keep the streak going.
It would help if they had an effective Joakim Noah.
He entered to loud cheers with 3:33 left in the first quarter and finished with a point and two rebounds in 7 minutes after missing seven games with plantar fasciitis in his left foot. That Noah was in uniform was a surprise considering Del Negro had said he probably wouldn't play.
Warrick, in his first home game since the trade deadline deal with Milwaukee, whipped the crowd into a frenzy late in the opening quarter, when he pivoted and threw down a one-handed facial over Young. The groans were just as loud moments later when Noah missed a dunk even though he was all alone, and he heard it from his teammates.
Otherwise, he felt fine.
"I really feel no pain, and I feel really good that we're playing such good basketball right now," he said.
Game notes
The Bulls' previous low for turnovers was five against Washington on Feb. 23, 2007. ... Sixers G Willie Green missed his second game with a slightly separated left shoulder. F Jason Smith missed his third straight game with a sprained right ankle, and newcomer Francisco Elson, recovering from hernia surgery, was not in uniform.
