I am expressing my full support towards the initiative driven by the Ministry of Women, Family and Community Development of their launch for a special Palestinian People’s Fund under National Welfare Foundation.
This humble initiative will spark hope among Palestinians woefully in need yet extremely appreciative towards food assistance, welfare programs, educational help and other basic necessities.
The current situation in Gaza is worsening causing the closing of schools - adversely harming 300,000 school-going Palestinian children as early as this August if help does not arrive immediately.
