Type 1: Epithelial Cell (lining outside the ovary)
Type 2: Germ Cell Tumor (ovum cells / eggs inside the ovary which was supposed to mature and pair with sperm to conceive)
Type 3: Sex Cord Stomal Tumor
Type 4: Metastatic Ovarian Cancer where cancer cell was originated from other organ but ended up in Ovary and continue to grow. Probably through blood vessels etc.
Most common case is Type 1.
Most sensitive to chemotherapy is Type 2.
Most rare is Type 3.
Type 4 cancer usually derived frm Breast Cancer / Colon Cancer.
