Hereditary hair loss is inevitable?
Hair loss seems to be a common problem for people in their middle age, and many people believe it is hereditary. It is common for men to look at their fathers and predict how their hair will look like in the future.
No doubt hair loss is a hereditary problem, but our lifestyle have an impact on it too. People these days lead a stressful life and overtax their brains. A lot of them have actually experienced hair fall when they are still studying. The problem gets worse when we often stay up late, dye and perm our hair frequently, engage in excessive intercourse, and are not mindful of our diet. This is why many people experience severe hair loss problems when they hit the middle age.
Early detection can help us tackle the problem before it aggravates further. Chinese Medicine theories believe that the blood is closely associated with the hair, as the kidneys govern the bones and bone marrow, and the hair reflects the essence of the organ. Individuals who are rich in the qi and blood and those with a strong qi in the kidneys would normally have darker, thicker, and lustrous hair.
Start tackling the problem by adjusting our lifestyle. Get enough sleep, stop being a night owl, and learn to relieve stress. Eat foods that can nourish the yin and kidneys and replenish the qi and the blood. Consume ingredients such as black bean, black sesame seeds, black fungus, Chinese yam, chives, walnut, and wolfberry. If need be, go for acupuncture to improve the circulation of the qi and blood in the scalp.
✔ CheckCheckCin Recommendation: Dusk rice water
Ingredients: Red Rice, White Rice, Black Sesame, Black Soya Bean
Effects: remedy to frequent late nights, improves hair quality and nourishes kidneys, relieves sore lower back

When people talk bad and treat others badly, they are projecting their negative behaviour, insensitivity and cruelty because they have something wrong with them. It's a reflection of their unhappiness, insecurity and inadequacy in their life.
Dealing with negative and toxic people is common in our lives, it can be our friends, colleagues, family members and random people or strangers who come to you when they need something or trying to get to know you.
If a person behaving negatively, disrespectful, disregard feelings, ignore boundaries and continue to talk and treat you in a harmful or hateful way, let these people go. Some people are evil, hateful, spiteful, sneaky and try to use people for their benefit.
Some people stand up to bad behaviour and choose to do nothing about it. Some people behaviours are one of the reasons which may constitute why animals are far better than humans.
For me, I may be nice and I treat people to the best I could. But if you continue to disrespect, use, rude, manipulative, envious, vengeful, cynical, bully, fake and all the negativity and cruel behaviour, I will not tolerate it. There are no rooms or vacancies for these people in my life.
I'm not naive, I know things, I know what I want and I only respect people who are total genuine with me. If you need help, do it properly. If you want to talk or ask things, do it nicely. Never assume. People's life is not your business. Always think then say and act accordingly. Behave appropriately. Be mindful. Change for the better.
If you are behaving negatively because you were once destroyed, stop destroying other people just because you want them to feel the same. Change your behaviour, be more matured, find wisdom and peace.
To those people who have handled many people in their walks of life, they are people who are willing to change and they are people who refuse and don't want to change for betterment. Truth be told, you can't change everybody. You can't expect everyone to be kind.
Time is limited. If we are still breathing, we still can fix what's wrong and improve our behaviour and quality of life.
Have some respect for yourself to become a better person.

When Layla first started solids, i was so fixated on babyled weaning. I wanted her to be able to feed herself, i wanted her to experience all those sensations from the food, i wanted her to develope her motor skills while feeding herself.
I must admit, it went well when it first started. But i was working and could not attend to her meals for 3 months. In that period, my helper and my mom was too afraid to let her feed herself, they just can't bear watching her gag. So they started feeding her.
When i took over after my production ended, she's learnt to open her mouth at the sight of spoon approaching her. For 2 weeks i tried to adjust her back to blw. She was so confused, and she also wasnt eating well with all my fussing. I was upset, she was upset. It took an entire hour just to feed her, a really unpleasant 1 hour too.
I struggled. I struggled with holding on to my ideals. I wanted the vision i played in my head to come true.
I almost sacrificed my daughter's happiness for my ego.
That's when i decided, it doesn't matter if its traditional weaning or babyled weaning. As long as she eats well, grows well, she enjoys her meal time and we enjoy our time together, how i feed her shouldn't matter. She will eventually learn to feed herself. It's fine and it's all good!
So much life lessons to learn in parenthood. It constantly challenges me to reflect on my thoughts and expectations. One thing i keep doing in this motherhood is to keep reminding myself to be mindful. And to stay happy!

We all know someone who gives advice even when not asked. In life, or in our virtual space.
They might not know whether you’re struggling with something. They might not know whether you are working on an issue. They might not know whether you want to hear their opinion.
They’ll talk anyway. They’ll tell you what to do anyway. They’ll shove answers right down your throat if they have to.
In this week's episode, we swap notes about people who love to #JustSharing. I'm glad we did this episode. It makes me more mindful in my conversation with others ... and more.
#SwappingNotes is an independent (read: unfunded) web show where Sheril A. Bustaman (Fluff) and I (Pons) talk candidly and truthfully about our experiences being wives, mothers, and women - among other things.

Hi everybody! Today's vlog:
I don't like you,
Mindful cooking,
Christmas Light Up Gin,
Craft Time
So sorry I've been a little MIA lately. Ive spent this month being very mindful and just living in the moment. September has been flying in and the kids and I have been enjoying lots of time being outdoors and creating things on rainy days. I suspect this Autumn and Winter will be mostly spent at home so I've been gradually stocking up on crafty things. I hope you're all staying safe.

?? THE POWER OF SELF-AWARENESS ??❤️
We’ve all heard of words like self-esteem, self-confidence, and self-worth ... but how about self-awareness? What exactly is self-awareness and what is the power of self-awareness?
Self-awareness is the ability to focus and evaluate our thoughts, feelings and actions. It ultimately allows us to master our emotions and not let our emotions master us. As a life coach, I hope to empower you to understand the concept of self-awareness.
The Cycle of Self-Awareness:
1. THOUGHTS - We can’t control the thoughts that pop in our head, but we can control which thoughts to focus on and which to dismiss. Although it’s good to focus on positive thoughts, we can’t simply ignore the negative ones. When we have negative thoughts, are these facts or merely opinions? Let’s tackle the negative facts and dismiss the negative opinions.
2. FEELINGS - What we feel, influences our actions. We need to be mindful and aware of the feelings that arise from our thoughts. Are we feeling positive or negative from our thoughts? When negative feelings emerge, let’s ask ourselves why and determine the root cause.
3. ACTIONS - We can either choose to REACT, an emotional action (“immature”) or RESPOND, a rational action (“mature”). When we are aware of the feelings which stem from our thoughts and the root causes of them, we have full control to respond rationally.
4. OUTCOMES - Our outcomes are a direct result of our actions. If we react emotionally, this will lead to a viscous cycle of negative thoughts, negative feelings and negative outcomes. As such, we must respond rationally and take control of our outcomes.
This process will take time and patience. So let’s be gentle and loving with ourselves! Next time we have a negative thought in our head which we cannot merely dismiss, let’s take a few moments to be mindful of how we are feeling. Should we react emotionally and let our emotions take the better part of us or respond rationally and take control of our emotions? When we choose to respond rationally, notice how it changes our outcomes !
Yours truly,
The Maisie Lining ❤️
