Forest bathing and nature therapy has long known to be beneficial for a person’s mental and physical health.
Sat aloft on the steps of this treehouse in the serene grounds of Nuhash Polli, Bangladesh, I was able to experience this first hand.
Now a beautiful picnic spot, Nuhash Polli was founded in 1987 by prolific writer and visionary filmmaker, the late Humayun Ahmed.
This space was Humayun Ahmed's private getaway spot where he used to spend most of the latter years of his life.
As a director, he used this heavenly location to shoot most of his movies and TV dramas and being able to catch a glimpse of his genius in amongst the lush landscape made for a truly surreal retreat.
