When taking this picture today in this rather lovely pond…I suddenly realized I had forgotten how to pose 😄

A few years ago I could pull out a pout on cue and pretend I was Cara Delevingne😅 ..but nowadays I just love making videos and entertaining you guys (hopefully)

I have always hated the word ‘influencer’ because taking 100’s of pictures & selfies and then posting them on my page doesn’t really make a difference or have an impact on anyone in my opinion!

That’s why I have always preferred the word Content Creator or Entertainer!

Because all I’ve ever wanted to do is to put a smile on people’s faces and to entertain! (Hopefully 🙏)

I would rather spend 5 hours editing a video than spend 5 hours editing the sky & removing dark circles under my eyes..which you guys can clearly see by now that I have a lot of 🤣🤣

People will quote that ‘a picture can say a thousand words…’

角打ちの発祥、北九州・小倉のおでん屋でビールとラーメン！福岡県北九州市『丸和前ラーメン』にお邪魔しました。「角打ち」とはもともと「酒を升に入れたまま飲む」という意味で使われた言葉だそうで、今では(酒を販売する)店で立ち呑みするスタイルを角打ちと呼ぶことも多いようです。今では全国的に広まっているスタイルですが、元は北九州の世界遺産にもなった八幡製鉄所をはじめとする工業地帯の労働者がいつでも飲める場所として栄えたのが始まりだそう。今回伺った丸和前ラーメンは創業35年の老舗で、おでん屋台としてスタートしました。古き良き時代を感じるゆったりした空間で久しぶりにおでんと酒とラーメンを楽しんできましたので、早速ご覧ください！

It seems that "Kakuuchi" was originally used to mean "drink with sake in a box", and nowadays, the style of standing and drinking at a store (which sells sake) is often called Kakuuchi. It seems. It is a style that is now widespread nationwide, but it seems that it began to prosper as a place where workers in industrial areas such as the Yahata Steel Works, which was originally a World Heritage Site in Kitakyushu, can drink at any time. The Maruwamae ramen I visited this time is a long-established store that has been in business for 35 years and started as an oden stand. I have enjoyed oden, sake and ramen for the first time in a long time in a spacious space where you can feel the good old days, so please have a look!

It is very interesting that we(Hong Kong people) always named a dish with a foreign country name. The Russian Beef dish indeed has no linkage with Russian at all. It is 100% old Hong Kong Style cuisine from 1950s.
It was made from beef slice, different bell pepper slice, cucumber pickles slices and rich brown sauce made from soy sauce , tomato paste and beef broth . I always love this dish when I was a little girl. This is one of my favourite including the baked pork rice and minced beef rice. I ordered them in turns when I visited the old Hong Kong style Western Cafe during my childhood. Nowadays, now many Hong Kong tea rooms still have this dish in their menu. Therefore, I would like to recreate this recipe to share with all of you. It is worth to preserve such recipes and also our food culture of Hong Kong.

Russian Beef with Rice (old Hong Kong Style)
1 onion
3 clove garlic
1 bell pepper
1/2 green bell pepper
2 pickled cucumber
1 sirloin steak
3-4tbsp flour

Seasoning:
1tbsp soy sauce
1/2tbsp sugar
1/2tbsp potato starch
1tbsp oil
2-3tbsp water

俄國牛柳絲飯 材料：
洋蔥 1個
蒜 3粒
紅甜椒 1個
青甜椒 ½個
酸青瓜 2條
西冷扒 1塊
麵粉 3-4湯匙

調味：
生抽 1湯匙
糖 ½湯匙
生粉 ½湯匙
油 1湯匙
水 2-3湯匙

牛肉湯粒 2粒
水 400毫升

It's very hot in Bangkok right now.
Therefore, most shoppers come to the Chatuchak Weekend Market in the evening when it is cooler.
Nowadays, there are not many tourists, but mostly young people and families living in and around Bangkok.
The main street is still open for business in the evening, and there are many stores.
It's a nice place to relax and shop in the cooler weather.

The Chatuchak weekend market does not allow cars to pass through after 6:00 pm for loading and unloading.
