Mother's Day has never been an easy time for me, ever since my mommy left us 3 years ago. Now, whenever I miss her, I always go rummaging through her stuff and then I'll find a photo or trinket that will remind me of a certain time when I was with her. It doesn't really assuage the pain or the loss, but the fond memories help to somehow fill the void. I found this photo last week. It's my mommy with her mommy. Aren't they pretty?
The first time I ever saw my mommy cry was when she had to break the news to me that her mother had died. I think it crushed her, as they were very close and she was an only child. In a certain way, I don't think she ever really got over that profound loss. I've been told that you never really get over that kind of thing. You just learn to live with the grief. There's a lot of truth in that.
I would like to think my mommy is in a good place now, if there is such a thing as 'afterlife', because she's no longer suffering any pain. I can't say that a day goes by that I don't think of her or miss her. She was such a prevalent positive life-force to my existence. I was lucky to have her for as much time as I did in my life. And I continue to have the good fortune of positive and loving mother figures in my life until today.
I'm dedicating my show tomorrow afternoon in tribute to my mommy and my grandmommies. And all the mother figures who have nurtured me - there have been many. There still ARE many. Here's to all of you. Thank you. Happy Mother's Day. 💜

日々の癒しを求めるあなたが...世界で最も聞きたい優しい歌声
台湾大学外国文学部、ハーバード大学教育大学院を卒業。日本慶応義塾大学にも留学の経験があり、母国語の北京語、台湾語に加え、英語、日本語も堪能である。フリーシンガーであり、ポップ、ジャズ、ゴスペル、ミュージカルと幅広いスタイルをカバーしている。
２００８年から台湾人気歌手王力宏（ワン・リーホン）のワールドツアーコンサート「Music Man」、「Music Man 2：火力全開」のバックコーラスとしてレギュラーを務める。
２００９年４月初アルバム「有人在替你祈禱」をリリース。第２１回伝統類金曲獎ベストボーカル賞にノミネート、同年１１月クリスマスアルバム「平安夜」と「聽見史茵茵」二枚組のCDアルバムをリリース。
そして、ミュージカル「四月望雨」にて「愛愛」を演じ、その歌声と演技力にも評価が集まる。また、台中ジャズフェスティバルにも招待されるなどジャズアーティストとしての知名度も高まる。
２０１０年には、兩廳院サマージャズパーティー特別招待アーティストとして出演。また、この年は台湾各地の他、香港、マレーシア及びシンガポールにて個人名義のライブツアーを行い、好評を得る。
２０１１年１１月シングル「送給阿嬤的歌」をリリース。２０１１年からは再びミュージカルに挑戦。「最後十四堂星期二的課」や映画「翻滾吧，阿信」にて挿入歌を歌う。さらに、ギタリスト程明、キーボード・シンガー余佳倫（阿涼）と共に「ザ・ヤム(YAM) プロジェクト」というトリオを結成し、新たに様々なジャンルの曲やスタイルに挑戦する。

午後之樹 Afternoon Tree
AfternoonTree は、2006年に台湾を拠点としたジャズハーモニカプレイヤー藤井俊充(Toshi)を中心に結成された癒し系ジャズバンドです。
ジャズハーモニカを支えるMountain(マウンテン)のアコースティックギターはフォークの響きを誘い、Annie(アニー)のチェロはクラシックの気質と格調をもたらし、Fifi(フィフィ)の二胡(アーフー)は、中国、四千年の悠久の歴史を語り、これらすべてが融合したバンドサウンドは、まさに独特であり絶妙のコンビネーションです。そして、ハーモニカの音色は時に暖かな午後の陽射しを思わせ、アコースティックギターの音色は風のように響き，大地に育む大きな木のようなチェロの音色に、うっすらと香る草木の匂いを思わせる二胡の音色は、大自然すら彷彿させられます。
