Bryan Intihar ผู้กำกับเกม Marvel's Spider-Man ใน Insomniac Games ได้ทวีตข้อความลงทวิตเตอร์ส่วนตัว กล่าวว่านับตั้งแต่วันประกาศเปิดตัว Marvel's Spider-Man Remastered ซึ่งมีกระแสตอบรับไม่ดี เพราะมีการเปลี่ยนใบหน้านักแสดง Peter Parker เป็นคนใหม่ เขาถูกรับจดหมายข่มขู่จะเข้ามาทำร้ายร่างกายหลายครั้ง เนื่องจากไม่พอใจกับการตัดสินใจของทีมงาน

Intihar จึงนำเรื่องราวดังกล่าวมาบอกผ่านทางโลกโซเชียล ด้วยการขอให้คนที่ส่งจดหมายข่มขู่ถึงเขา เลิกก่อพฤติกรรมดังกล่าวซะเสีย เนื่องจากเป็นการทำให้ทีมพัฒนาขาดกำลังใจในการสร้างเกม และรู้สึกไม่ปลอดภัยในการใช้ชีวิต
