Yesterday has been an emotional rollercoaster ride for me, with my health starting to decline again and struggling to get a good night’s sleep coping with the pain. Feeling restless to keep up with the renovation work at #TheOldForgeCottage 🏡
And then to make it worse, woke up in the morning with sad news from Malaysia…my brother-in-law, his wife and their 2 little children have tested positive for #coronavirus! I can’t help but think how they’re going to manage their 2 kids when they themselves are unwell. I’ve been unwell myself for so many years and I know how hard it is to juggle in between your illness and to care for your children. And when I came across the news of @sitisarahraissuddin my heart just sank for her husband @shuibsepahtu and their kids…😭
On top of that, whenever I read the news or scroll through social media, reading all those sad news of people losing their loved ones every day makes me so emotional…I cried. My heart trembled. The memory of losing my beloved brother Adamdidam 2 years ago came back haunting me. I can still remember the feelings. It feels just like yesterday. It still feels raw. I can still remember that day, we were all getting ready to pray Maghrib when the phone rang. As soon as I saw the number on the screen, I panicked. It’s my father’s number from Malaysia. And the fact that it’s not even Fajr time yet in Malaysia, I knew right away that something must be wrong! That’s when we lost our beloved @adamdidam 💔
May Allah grant a complete healing to those who are fighting any type of illnesses and blessed us all with a long, healthy and quality life. If you’re feeling down, heartbroken, unwell, grieving, fighting your illness, or in any difficulty and you’re reading this…please know that my thoughts and prayers are with you! Please know that you are not alone - have faith - The Almighty is always with you 🤍
Love,
Mrs Mom

This was #FatimahOmarMukhlis exactly 2 years ago, on 18th July 2019 - 2 months after her beloved Mamajee @adamdidam passed away. The photos were taken at 2.16 in the morning. These are the raw images of pain. These are the proof of love.
I have never shared these photos before plus many other photos too. So why am I sharing it now then?
Well, when my sisters lost our brother @adamdidam and my parents lost their son, I lost my daughter too. Yes, my old Fatimah was lost when her Mamajee passed away. It was too painful to watch her suffering. And I know many of you were worried and concerned about her too but some just simply refused to understand and preferred to keep on being insensitive, ignorant, judgmental and whatnot.
And the reason why I chose to share it today is because…when I woke up this morning, these photos popped up in the phone memory. As soon as I saw them, I cried. And I’ve decided to share them with all of you. Not so you can cry too but so you know the truth. So you know the pain. So you know that grief is real. So you know that it is not attention seeking. So you know that kids grieve too.
But why do they grieve? Aren’t they too young to understand? How can they grieve? Do the parents force them to grieve? No, because they are just normal human beings like all of us adults too. Yes, simply because they are human too, you know.
Kids have feelings too. They were born with a heart that can feel the exact same things that we feel. They can feel happiness and they too can feel the sadness. And our role as adults is to treat them like a real ‘human’ - be understanding, caring, nurturing, sensitive, supportive and guide them. Don’t just treat them like a joke or a laughing stock! Don’t belittle their feelings. Acknowledge their feelings. Allow them to be happy. Allow them to be sad.
And I’m glad that I kept Fatimah away so she can fully grieve. And I’m beyond blessed that we are surrounded by supportive family and friends who not only acknowledge Fatimah’s grief but also fully supported her to get back up and wake up from her deep wound…Alhamdulillah, she has come back stronger! 💪🏻
It’s ok to grieve,
Mrs Mom

Alhamdulillah…after more than 2 years since Mamajee Adamdidam left us, she’s finally ready to be back on tv! We were very shocked when #FatimahOmarMukhlis said “YES” to the interview by Wanita Hari Ini TV3 TV3 Malaysia 😭
Sorry to all tv & media whom we had turned down for the past 2 years. We can’t possibly force our little girl if she’s not fully ready. Fatimah was first inspired to make all those videos looking at her beloved Mamajee’s. So it is well understood why she refused to do it after he passed away. She was completely heartbroken 💔
We witnessed how much she struggled to be back to who she is now. She may not be the same person that you all knew when her Mamajee was still alive, but we’re all glad that she has come back stronger - Alhamdulillah ♥️
Thank you to all of you wonderful people who have been patiently waiting for her comeback, who have been so understanding, who have been giving her the time and space that she needed, who have been loving her unconditionally, who have been praying for her endlessly and who have been supporting her from Day 1 until today! May The Almighty bless you all and reward you abundantly for all of your kindness…
Blessed,
Mrs Mom

Remember when Fatimah won the @abpbh33 Most Popular Social Media Personality Award two years ago, on 7th October 2018? Remember how proud she was when Mamajee went to collect the award on her behalf on 11th October 2018? Remember her excitement, counting the days, waiting for her Mamajee to bring the award over to Birmingham? Remember how that cheerful Fatimah was broken when she lost her Mamajee? And then the award was forgotten…erased from her mind!
2019 - one year later. The award finally flew over all the way from Malaysia into her hands…but without her Mamajee. This is the exact moment when our cheerful Fatimah was finally lost for words. She struggled to talk. But still, she didn’t forget to thank everyone. It was a very emotional moment for all of us and it was too painful to witness, let alone to share the video!
Here we are, 11th October 2020 - exactly two years after our beloved Mamajee went to collect Fatimah’s award...and one year after this video was taken. We finally gathered up enough strength to share this moment with all of you, even though the pain is still there. After all, Fatimah wouldn’t have won the award without all of you wonderful people who have loved her unconditionally, supported her from day 1, and voted for her to win this award - thank you from the bottom of our hearts!

“Last meal for Mukhtar, Fatimah & Ali ? Mamajee cook with extra love today ❤️✈️?? Mee Hoon Goreng with Eggs & Green Peas”
p/s: Written by Mamajee @adamdidam on 18th August 2018. This was exactly the last meal he cooked specially for the kids before he went back to Malaysia. August 2018 was the last time we not only got to eat his cooking, but actually feel his warm hug. May Allah reward him with the best place in Jannatul Firdaus, not only for the food he cooked for us, but also for the love he showered us with...

Mamajee @adamdidam created a stunning dessert - NO BAKE VANILLA CHEESECAKE WITH STRAWBERRIES - for his 4th episode of #SundayWithAdam on 14th February 2016. And here I am 4 years later, recreating the exact same dessert in honour of my beloved Mamajee. May Allah reward Mamajee abundantly for sharing his recipes with all of us. Don’t miss out on this special tribute - watch now!
