แต่คนหลายคนคงจะสงสัยว่าทำไม TOM & JERRY ภาคคนแสดงปี 2021 นี้ ทำไมทางทีมสร้างถึงเลือกที่จะทำตัวทอมกับเจอรรี่ในหนังให้เป็นแนว Live-action animated film หรือตัวการ์ตูน 2 มิติที่แสดงคู่กับคนจริง มากกว่าที่จะทำตัวทอมกับเจอรี่ให้เป็นตัว CG สัตว์จริงๆ ให้เหมือนกับหนังหลายๆเรื่องในยุคนี้
แอดคิดว่าทางทีมสร้างคงอยากจะให้ทอมกับเจอร์รี่ มีรูปร่างหน้าตาที่ดูคลาสสิคให้เหมือนกับการ์ตูน เพราะส่วนมากคนดูจะติดตากับหน้าทอมกับเจอร์รี้ในรูปร่างตัวการ์ตูนในแบบ 2 มิติซะมากกว่า
แถมแต่ก่อนทอมกับเจอร์รี่ก็เคยไปปรากฏในในภาพยนตร์เพลงคนแสดงจริงถึง 2 เรื่อง เช่น
Anchors Aweigh ปี 1945 กับ Dangerous When Wet ปี 1953
แต่ส่วนมากจะมาโผล่เป็นตัวละครรับเชิญเท่านั้น
สุดท้ายนี้ TOM & JERRY ภาคคนแสดงที่เป็นหนังทอมกับเจอร์รี่เรื่องแรกที่ทั้งคู่ได้รับบทนำจะเป็นยังไงนั้น เรามาลุ้นดูกันดีกว่าในปี 2021 เลยครับ
