ถ้าถามว่า ในตลาดหุ้น มีบริษัทไหนที่ทำธุรกิจไม่เหมือนใครบ้าง หนึ่งในนั้นน่าจะมีชื่อของ Jubilee
เนื่องจากเป็นบริษัทเดียวในตลาดหุ้นที่ทำธุรกิจจำหน่ายเครื่องประดับและเพชร
หลายคนอาจคิดว่า ธุรกิจที่ขายสินค้าฟุ่มเฟือยอย่างเครื่องประดับหรูหราคงจะได้รับผลกระทบอย่างหนักในช่วงการระบาดของไวรัสโควิด 19 เนื่องจากเป็นสินค้าที่ลูกค้ามักจะชะลอการซื้อออกไป
เมื่อเทียบกับสินค้าจำเป็นในชีวิตประจำวัน
แต่เรื่องนี้อาจไม่จริงเสมอไป เพราะ Jubilee หนึ่งในผู้ประกอบการธุรกิจขายเครื่องประดับเพชรและเพชรกะรัต กลับทำกำไรสูงสุดเป็นประวัติการณ์ของบริษัทเลยทีเดียว
ทำไม Jubilee จึงยังเติบโตได้ในช่วงเวลาแบบนี้ ลงทุนแมนจะเล่าให้ฟัง

ก่อนอื่นเรามาทำความรู้จักกับ บริษัท ยูบิลลี่ เอ็นเตอร์ไพรส์ จำกัด (มหาชน) หรือ Jubilee กันก่อน
จุดเริ่มต้นของ Jubilee เกิดขึ้นมาจากร้านขายเพชรแถวย่านสะพานเหล็ก โดยใช้ชื่อว่า “ร้านซุยฮั้ว”
ต่อมาคุณวิโรจน์ พรประกฤต ซึ่งเป็นทายาทในรุ่นต่อมา มองว่าด้วยความที่วิถีชีวิตของคนเริ่มเปลี่ยนไป ลูกค้ามักจะเดินทางไปห้างสรรพสินค้ากันมากขึ้น พอเรื่องเป็นแบบนี้คุณวิโรจน์ ซึ่งขณะนั้นกำลังมองหาช่องทางจำหน่ายเพชร เพื่อให้ลูกค้าเดินทางมาสะดวกด้วย จึงต้องการที่จะขยายช่องทางการจำหน่ายสินค้าของเขา ผ่านการเช่าพื้นที่ในห้างสรรพสินค้า
ทำให้ในปี 2536 เขาจึงก่อตั้ง บริษัท ยูบิลลี่ เอ็นเตอร์ไพรส์ จำกัด ขึ้น
และในปีต่อมา เขาได้เปิดสาขาในรูปแบบเคาน์เตอร์ขายเพชรแห่งแรกที่ห้างสรรพสินค้าเยาฮัน
ซึ่งถือเป็นการขยายช่องทางการจัดจำหน่ายเพชรแบบเคาน์เตอร์ครั้งแรกในประเทศไทย
ไม่เพียงแต่จะเป็นผู้บุกเบิก การขายเพชรผ่านรูปแบบของเคาน์เตอร์ในห้างแล้ว Jubilee ยังได้สร้างมาตรฐานใหม่ ๆ ให้กับอุตสาหกรรมซื้อขายเพชรในประเทศไทย
นั่นคือ เมื่อลูกค้าซื้อเพชรตั้งแต่ 0.30 กะรัต ขึ้นไป ลูกค้าต้องได้รับใบรับรองคุณภาพเพชร (Certificate) ที่ผ่านการรับรองจากสถาบันชั้นนำของโลกอย่าง GEMOLOGICAL INSTITUTE OF AMERICA (GIA) ซึ่งเป็นสถาบันอัญมณีหลักของประเทศสหรัฐอเมริกา และ HRD Antwerp (HRD) เป็นสถาบันอัญมณีของประเทศเบลเยียม
หลังจากนั้นกิจการก็เติบโตขึ้นเรื่อยมา
ปัจจุบัน รายได้ของบริษัทจะมาจาก
- เครื่องประดับเพชรและอื่น ๆ 87.97%
- เพชรกะรัต 11.71%
- ค่าบริการ 0.32%
9 เดือนแรกของปี 2563 บริษัทมีสาขาทั้งสิ้น 130 สาขาทั่วประเทศ โดยอยู่ในกรุงเทพฯ จำนวน 51 สาขาและต่างจังหวัด 79 สาขา
อย่างที่ทุกคนรู้ สถานการณ์โรคระบาดโควิด 19 ที่เกิดขึ้นในประเทศตั้งแต่ช่วงต้นปีที่แล้ว ทำให้ห้างสรรพสินค้าหลายแห่งถูกปิดชั่วคราว ซึ่งร้าน Jubilee หลายแห่งนั้นตั้งอยู่ในห้างสรรพสินค้าด้วย
รวมทั้งการที่คนเลื่อนจัดงานแต่งงานในช่วงดังกล่าว ก็น่าจะกระทบกับยอดขายเครื่องประดับเพชรและเพชรกะรัตไปพอสมควร
แต่ Jubilee ใช้โอกาสนี้ในการหันมาขายสินค้าผ่านช่องทาง E-commerce อย่างเต็มรูปแบบหลังจากที่เริ่มพัฒนาช่องทางดังกล่าวมาตั้งแต่ปี 2562 ผ่านทาง Lazada, Shopee, JD Central, Robinson Online รวมทั้ง Instagram, Facebook, Website รวมไปถึง Line ของบริษัท ซึ่งช่องทางดังกล่าว ทำให้บริษัทมีรายได้มาชดเชยกับช่องทางขายรูปแบบเดิมที่ลดลงได้บ้าง ในช่วงการแพร่ระบาดของโควิด 19
ขณะที่ Jubilee ยังพยายามขยายฐานลูกค้าใหม่เข้าสู่กลุ่มที่มีกำลังซื้อสินค้าในช่วงราคาหลักหมื่นต้น ๆ เมื่อรวมกับความพยายามในการควบคุมต้นทุนและค่าใช้จ่ายต่าง ๆ ของบริษัทเป็นอย่างดี
รายได้และกำไรของบริษัท ยูบิลลี่ เอ็นเตอร์ไพรส์ จำกัด (มหาชน)
ปี 2561 รายได้ 1,554 ล้านบาท กำไร 191 ล้านบาท
ปี 2562 รายได้ 1,820 ล้านบาท กำไร 262 ล้านบาท
ปี 2563 รายได้ 1,708 ล้านบาท กำไร 267 ล้านบาท
สังเกตได้ว่า ถึงแม้รายได้ของบริษัทจะลดลง แต่กำไรกลับเพิ่มขึ้น
ปัจจุบัน Jubilee อยู่ภายใต้การบริหารงานโดยคุณอัญรัตน์ พรประกฤต ทายาทรุ่นที่ 4 ของตระกูลพรประกฤต ซึ่งเป็นลูกสาวของคุณวิโรจน์ ผู้ก่อตั้ง Jubilee นั่นเอง
ปิดท้ายด้วยข้อมูลที่น่าสนใจ หุ้น Jubilee ซื้อขายกันในตลาดหลักทรัพย์ mai ในชื่อย่อว่า JUBILE ซึ่งเป็นแหล่งระดมทุนของธุรกิจที่มีศักยภาพขนาดรองจากบริษัทที่จดทะเบียนในตลาดหลักทรัพย์หลักหรือ SET
อย่างไรก็ตาม แม้ว่าจะอยู่ในตลาดหลักทรัพย์ mai แต่วันนี้มูลค่ากิจการของ Jubilee ก็สูงกว่า 4,300 ล้านบาท ซึ่งไม่น้อยไปกว่าหุ้นหลายตัวในตลาดหลักทรัพย์ SET เลย..

During the month of October me and my mum set out on a mission to start cold water training in the freezing winter waters of England in the hopes of becoming hardcore!
While watching Eco-Challenge 2020 my mum was inspired to start cold water training to try and become hardcore like the athletes on the show. Unfortunately me and the rest of my family were forced into.
We did some wild swimming in the Jubilee River as well as the Thames River and Brighton Beach. We also got sprayed with a freezing cold hose while trying to hold yoga poses. It was a wild and crazy month of cold water training!
