Definitely one of the most psychological and emotional challenge I faced in the past few years, but I start to master it 😅.
One advice? Don’t f***ing waste your time.. no matter if it’s through work, reading, workout, doing stuff you always had on the to do list.. the worst thing is to finish two weeks feeling that you have wasted your time.

Nama Shokupan
Shokupan is a fluffy Japanese white bread which took the world by storm in the past few months. The bread is soft yet chewy with a slight sweetness. What distinguish Shokupan from normal bread is the Yudane method, mixing flour with water and leave overnight before combining with other ingredients. This make bread softers, fluffier and hypothetically last longer.

(Eng below) 目前正在繪製的台北小區圖。回顧我的舊照片,我發現這名男騎士載著我見過最扯的巨大物件,一根20英呎的棒狀物!我很讚嘆他過人的平衡感!幸好他沒有飆車,而且在轉角就停了下來。 他身後有一群人正在做區域性消毒,早在新冠2020以前,每幾個月就都有專人以噴灑設備來此消毒。大概是在防鼠防蟲,如果你們有人知道,歡迎告訴我。我猜它有一定效果,我已經好幾年沒在這看到一隻蟑螂了!通化南端似乎有一批房舍屬於政府管轄,這一區有低矮村舍的美感,除了在行天宮一帶住了幾週外,這是我長住的第一個社區。
A small part of the Taipei neighborhood drawing I'm currently making. I looked back in my old photos to find the most ambitious thing I've seen someone carry on a scooter here and it has to be this guy with his 20ft pole! I was quite amazed at the balance! Fortunately he wasn't driving fast and he pulled it up at corners. Behind him some people are disinfecting the neighborhood. Even before this past year people came around with spray machines every few months. I think they're preventing roaches or rats. If you guys know I'm curious to find out. I guess it works, I haven't had a roach for years! The south end of Tonghua has groups of 2 floor houses that I think belong to the government. They give that area a nice low rise village feel. Apart from a couple of weeks in an area near Xingtian Temple this was the first part of Taipei I lived in (and I still live around here).

From the bottom of my heart, I’m so happy and grateful for all of the love, truly I can’t thank you enough.
A lot of things have been happening to me these past few months, whether it’s good or bad, I’ve learned to be grateful for the little things and learned to change my perspective towards things in a different way.
Throughout my life so far, at this age I’ve met a lot of amazing people from different walks of life and I’m forever grateful that I get to learn a thing or two from these amazingly wonderful people, even though it is for a short period of time, I’m happy to have stumbled upon them truly.
Despite whatever that we’re currently going through, I got the opportunity to spend my quarantine with my family and that doesn’t happen often. For 3 years, I’ve been wanting to have a proper Ice Cream Cake for my birthday but never really got the chance to get it but Alhamdulilah 2021, finally got it! Thanks Kak, Sabrina, Abah and Mama. Infact I’d call my friends virtually via Zoom Calls & Google Meet, we’d call & talk, laugh till it’s 4/5AM in the morning, I missed all of them truly
I even got the opportunity to spend my birthday with some of the #FAIZIES which I didn’t expect it to happen at all, they really did surprised me and it means the world to be receiving that, Thanks guys. It’s a memory that I’ll remember always and forever. You guys made my day truly, I love all of you.
As I grow, I believe that we’ll never stop learning as we live and as we grow we will keep meeting new obstacles in life that’ll make us wonder and think. Furthermore, I believe that from these obstacles that we’ve all went through, it’ll mold us into better & stronger individuals, as we grow. Moving on, Letting go of things that it is beyond our control

After getting its Michelin star back in January, The Chairman claimed the top spot for Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 2021 – a first for a Hong Kong restaurant – just two months later. Tucked away in a small side road at the back of the bustling Central district, the modern classic Cantonese eatery is owned by Danny Yip, a low-key veteran restaurateur who has managed to stay out of the limelight until recent years. “Food is always our centre of attention. Because whenever we struggle to take care of everything else, we always consider: how much time can we actually spend in the kitchen during the year? We want to put all our energy on our food, especially during the first few years,” Yip says.
Little Meg, a top food influencer with over 159,000 followers on Instagram and one of the Tokyo guides featured in Netflix’s foodie docuseries “Ugly Delicious”, is one of the most frequent regulars of The Chairman. She has dined at the small restaurant at least 37 times within nine months since June last year. “Chinese cuisine used to lack certain finesse, but The Chairman has successfully filled the gaps over the past decade. For instance, Chinese dishes were often cooked with stock or a lot of sauces, but The Chairman decided not to go down the same route. They establish their own flavors with their own techniques,” Little Meg says.
