Starting March 19, the U.S. Consulate General in Hong Kong and Macau is suspending all routine immigrant and nonimmigrant visa services. 美國在台協會台北辦事處因颱風暫停開放

由於杜鵑颱風的來襲，美國在台協會台北辦事處於2015年9月29日（星期二）暫停開放。所有預約都被取消。所有居住或來台旅行的美國公民應密切注意本地新聞，瞭解天氣動態，以確保安全。如遇緊急事件，美國公民可與美國在台協會台北辦事處聯絡，電話為02-2162-2000。

重新安排美國公民服務科預約時間

如果您在這天與台北辦事處美國公民服務科有約，我們建議您重新上網預約。預約請透過美國在台協會網站: http://acs-ch.ait.org.tw/。

如果您的預約是在9月29日星期二，且能證明您有緊急行程，您可以在我們恢復上班的下一個工作日正常開放時間來美國在台協會辦理。不過您等待的時間可能會比較久。

AIT Taipei office will be closed due to Typhoon

Due to Typhoon Dujuan, the AIT Taipei office will be closed on Tuesday, September 29, 2015. All appointments are cancelled. All U.S. citizens residing in or visiting Taiwan are urged to monitor local news for the latest safety and weather information. In the event of an emergency, U.S. citizens could call AIT's Taipei office 02-2162-2000.

Rescheduling American Citizen Services Appointments:

We encourage individuals who had American Citizen Services (Taipei office) appointments scheduled for this day to reschedule their appointments online by visiting AIT’s website at http://acs.ait.org.tw/.

If you had an appointment scheduled for Tuesday, September 29 and have proof of emergency travel, you may come to AIT during our regular business hours on the next available business day. However, delays are to be expected.

Rescheduling Immigrant Visa Appointments:

Individuals who had immigrant visa interview appointments scheduled for this day should contact AIT's Immigrant Visa Unit via e-mail at visaiv-ait@state.gov to reschedule.

Rescheduling Nonimmigrant Visa Interview Appointments:

We encourage individuals who had nonimmigrant visa interview appointments scheduled for this day to reschedule their appointments by visiting the Application Processing Center's web site at http://www.ustraveldocs.com/tw/.
