- คุณ Patrick Redding ผู้กำกับฝ่ายสร้างสรรค์ที่เคยมีผลงานการกำกับ Splinter Cell Conviction และ Blacklist เป็นหัวหอกการพัฒนา และมีคุณ Mitch Dyer อดีตมือเขียนบท Star Wars Battlefront 2 และ Squadrons เข้ามารับหน้าที่เขียนบทให้เกมนี้
- สามารถเล่น Co-op ได้ 2 คน และมีท่าแท็กทีมอย่างที่เคยปรากฎใน Batman Arkham Knight
- ถึงจะใช้โลกทัศน์เดียวกันกับ Batman Arkham แต่ Gotham Knights ก็ไม่ได้อยู่ในจักรวาลเดียวกันกับเกมเหล่านั้น แต่เป็นเรื่องราวใหม่ในจักรวาลใหม่ไปเลย
- Gotham City มีเขตแยกย่อย 5 เขต แต่ละเขตก็มีรูปลักษณ์ที่แตกต่างกันไป และเป็นครั้งแรกที่เมือง Gotham City จะคราคร่ำไปด้วยผู้คน ต่างจากเกมซีรีส์ Arkham
- สำรวจเมืองด้วยการร่อน และใช้ Grappling รวมไปถึง Batcycle ได้
- เกมจะมีความท้าทายและความหลากหลายที่มากขึ้นกว่าเกมก่อนหน้า อย่าง Batman Arkham Origins และระบบต่อสู้ที่ออกแบบใหม่เพื่อการเล่น Co-op โดยเฉพาะ

- ความก้าวหน้าของเนื้อเรื่องจะแชร์กันระหว่างตัวละครทั้ง 4 นั่นหมายความว่า แม้เราจะเล่นตัวละครใดตัวละครหนึ่งเยอะกว่าตัวอื่น ตัวละครอื่นที่ไม่ได้เล่น ก็จะเก่งและมีทักษะไปพร้อมกันด้วย
