แต่กลับกัน ผู้กำกับระดับเทพ Cory Barlog เจ้าของผลงาน God of War เผยว่า "มันจำเป็นต้องขึ้นราคาแล้ว"

ในสัปดาห์ที่ผ่านมา ถือว่ามีการพูดคุย และถกเถียงกันหลายอย่างมาก เกี่ยวกับราคาเกมมาตรฐานที่อาจจะโดดขึ้นมาอีกราว ๆ 10$ รวมไปถึงตัวเกมอาจจะต้องทำให้มันสั้นลง เพราะตัวเกมใช้ต้นทุนในการสร้างสูงมาก

Cory Barlog เองก็เห็นด้วยและทวิตว่า การทำแบบนี้ มันเป็นเรื่องที่ดีและมันจำเป็นจะต้องขึ้นราคาจริง ๆ ดีกว่าปล่อยให้เกมเกมนั้นต้องหาเงินด้วยระบบ Microtransaction แล้วมันจะยิ่งทำให้ผู้เล่นไม่ชอบใจมากขึ้นไปอีก
