【台索簽署 #醫療合作協定 深化雙邊合作】
外交部吳部長與 #索馬利蘭共和國 外交暨國際合作部代理部長歐利班（Liban Yusuf Osman），於6/16以視訊方式共同簽署「中華民國（台灣）政府與索馬利蘭共和國政府醫療合作協定」，未來台灣也將派遣醫療團前往索馬利蘭首府醫院，提供醫療服務，也希望增加索國當地的醫療能量。
台灣與索馬利蘭自2020年互設代表機構後，持續在公共衛生、資通訊、農業及教育等領域推動雙邊合作計畫，醫療更是台索雙邊合作的重點領域，這次簽署的醫療合作協定，將會與 TaiwanICDF財團法人國際合作發展基金會 婦幼計畫攜手合作，改善索馬利蘭孕產婦及新生兒高死亡率的問題。
除了政府合作之外，台灣民間團體也將愛心送到東非之角，例如 TRMPC 台灣路竹醫療和平會曾遠赴索國進行義診、 彰化基督教醫院海外醫療援助 捐贈二手醫療器材及 台積電•愛•行動 、美德醫療 Medtecs Group 捐贈防疫物資等善舉，都深植於索國人民心中。
這次簽署兩國醫療合作協定，除了研議派遣專業醫療團隊赴索，推動醫護人員能力，也希望能夠提升索國整體醫療衛生能量，並實踐台灣對於促進世界衛生發展的承諾與責任。

MOFA Minister Joseph Wu signed a medical cooperation agreement with his counterpart from #Somaliland, acting Minister Liban Yusuf Osman, via video link today, strengthening exchange between the two countries in the sector.
Under the terms of the agreement, #Taiwan is to send a medical team to provide services to a hospital in the country and help train medical staff there.
In his remarks, Minister Wu stated that health care, along with agriculture, education and ICT, is one of the key sectors for cooperation between the two countries, and that ICDF programs in the country will help to raise the standard of medical care there, allowing Taiwan to do its part for #GlobalHealth.
