=================================
--------------------------------------------------
1) Break up (with ____ )
<例文>
I broke up with my girlfriend yesterday.
We broke up last month. Things just didn't work out.
Why did you break up with her?
A: John broke up with his girlfriend yesterday.
B: Really? They were only together for 1 month. What happened?
--------------------------------------------------
2) Dump _____ / Get dumped (by ____ )
<例文>
I heard Jack dumped his girlfriend.
I got dumped [by my girlfriend]. She said I'm too nice. What does that even mean?
A: What's wrong? You don't look like yourself. Is everything OK?
B: I just got dumped by my girlfriend. She sent me a text saying we should end it.
--------------------------------------------------
Get a divorce / Get divorced
<例文>
It's pretty common for married couples in the U.S. to get a divorce.
He's going through tough times right now. He's actually going through a divorce.
A: Mike just called me and said, Tony and Kate are getting a divorce.
B: What? They're getting divorced? What about their kids?
