When I wrote “Kita Manusia”, I was in a dark phase of my life. I felt despair and alone. But then I realised that we’re allowed to feel all sorts of emotions and that we don’t have to have everything figured out. It’s ok to not be okay, as long as we pick ourselves back up. Everyone faces their own personal struggles and we shouldn’t be too hard on ourselves. Some are dealing with mental illnesses that come with these struggles. I want you to know that you are not alone & I want to be there for you. Kita semua sama, kita manusia.
