• Provide grief counselling and support to bereaved children, teenagers, adults, and families.
• Provide crisis intervention, counselling, follow-up and debriefing calls, and referrals to community resources as needed.
• Research, organise, direct, and coordinate special grief and support services as assigned.
• Provide education and support to the community as available through presentations, training workshops, and outreach programmes.
𝐁. 𝐑𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐬:
• Bachelor’s Degree / Post Graduate Diploma / Master’s Degree in Counselling, Education, or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of working experience in the following preferred areas: hospice & palliative care, funeral and bereavement care, grief and loss counselling, support groups, case management, life and death studies, or health education.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak in Mandarin and English. Basic conversational skills in Cantonese, Hakka, or Hokkien will occasionally be required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Able to work independently with minimum supervision.
• Able to work on public holidays or weekends.
• Physical ability to perform job duties with occasionally exposure to the sun and heat.

• Demonstrate ability to be self-directed, flexible and cooperative in fulfilling role obligation, and ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
• Demonstrate understanding of the principles of grief and loss and the skills needed to assist the bereaved in the healing process.

到底在economic recession 之下,中層的逼科人搵唔搵到工?
我:「點呀,搵工搵成點?」
朋友:「有幾間commercial AM/M post interview,但間間公司都要我有commercial experience,我剛剛big 4 出嚟,點會有commercial experience。我無commercial experience,好多公司連interview 都唔俾我。 」
我:「因為auditor 識review financial,但未必識做。呢個係最大weakness。」
朋友:「搵唔到咪當放長假,橫掂係逼科呢幾年咁辛苦,人生有幾何有咁長假期⋯⋯」
就這樣,我們就分道揚鑣⋯⋯
在這個job market, 逼科的applicants 就好似複製人一樣,每個人也拿着差不多的portfolio,大學畢業,straight big 4,工作了數年,好wok 好wok,每人連introduction,為何要離開逼科的原因也一模一樣。
假如公司一日in 5 個applicants,in 足2 星期,代表in 了50 個逼科人,如何可以stand out ,不是一件容易的事。
到底你要如何market 自己,才可以將自己sell 出去。 那一刻自覺同雞無分別,就是不停的show 自己各種各項的技能,口爆、冰火,SM 所有奇奇怪怪的技能,你也想胡說一番, 期望得到interviewer 的認同,但interviewer 並唔係嫖客,所以所有冰火套餐對他一點用也沒有。
正如,auditor 最喜歡吹捧自己做audit 有幾wok,有幾多晚通頂的記錄,但這些通通不是interviewer 想要的。到底那五年的經歷,你可以為我們公司帶來什麼貢獻呢,你有什麼東西是value added。
「我好wok 得」,並唔會為你帶來一個job offer。
經濟好景時,逼科同事要搵到份好工有幾難,求其send CV,in 一至兩次就有job offer。
但現在的工全部是replacement,已經無新加職位。 更過份是炒FM,留senior accountant, take up FM 的工作,但job market 就愈來愈多人失業,再加上第四波疫情就殺到,即使大公司都抱住觀望的態度,平白無事根本不會請人。
加上,上年的社會運動,其實MNC 走得就走,連以前最容易攞job offer 的MNC 都沒了。
再看看,job market 留下的是什麼工種? 這個時間還會請人的commercial 多數都難做,可能本身culture 差,或者人事關係恐怖。好吧,其實大家去到這一步,恐怖與否都不重要,最重要有份工。但最重要的問題來了,其實job adv 係假,無論你apply 幾多次都不會有interview 的機會。或者也許不是假,只是那間公司每日收到海量的CV,根本不會理會你這些複製人。
到現在還有機會interview 只有financial service 的工作,好似Bank, Fund house and Insurance。但如果你做Non FS audit,即使他們俾機會你interview,但對FS 零知識的你,interviewer 還是寧願請一個懂幾個vocabulary (eg FRR, banking return) 做過FS audit 的同事,所以又食白果。
搵工途中有不少人問:「你係咪唔肯discount? 你減人工多啲,點會無人請?」
問得出這句話,代表你沒有任何commercial 的exposure。
如果你在逼科已經五年,但你的interviewer (manager)只留係逼科3 年,之後,做commercial, 由senior accountant 慢慢坐上manger 的位置,可能你的能力比他還要強。你想想,他會請你嗎?又再想想,如果他請了你,他知道你一定不甘心被他欺壓,所以他明白你不會做得長,咁不如請個低grade d 好過。
這正是問題的所在,並不是你肯減人工,人地就肯要你。
講左咁耐,到底如何增加攞offer 的機會呢?
無⋯⋯你無嘢可以做到。
我曾經看過一篇文章,它其中一句我深刻的記在腦海中:「你跟他有緣,他屬意你,你怎答他也點頭。不喜歡你,總會雞蛋裡挑骨頭。你以為關關難過關關過,但每個答案他都能抽秤出下一難題,沒完沒了。你跟公司有緣有份,就算不一拍即合,兜兜轉轉總能回去。無份的話不論你表現多好,總會有原因令你簽不成。所謂有緣無份,就是如此解讀。」
這篇文章沒法為大家解決失業難題,但我所說的job market 確實是這個境況。
最後,亦只能引用悠長假期其中一句金句:「妳可以這樣想,就當做是很長很長的假期,人生不需要總是盡全力衝刺,人總有不順利或是疲倦的時候。在這時候,我就把它當成是上天賜給我們的假期,不必勉強衝刺,不必緊張,不必努力加油。一切順其自然,然後一切就會好起來。」
