這是英國威爾斯詩人 Dylan Thomas 的作品，勵志詩，鼓舞他的年老父親要和生命戰鬥，不要放棄。
安東尼霍普金斯跟Dylan Thomas 都是來自於英國的威爾斯。
這首威爾斯詩人的作品，也常常被其他作品引用。
對我們來說，最有名的就是《星際效應》（Interstellar），主修英國文學的諾蘭導演，也把這首詩放進了他的電影。
