Dirt 5 ถือเป็นการยกเครื่องครั้งใหญ่ เพื่อนำ Series นี้ ไปสู่ผู้เล่นในวงกว้าง แม้ว่าอาจจะมีขัดใจแฟนๆ เดนตายของ Dirt ในแง่ความสมจริงแบบ Simulator อยู่บ้าง แต่ด้วย Content มหาศาลที่ใส่เข้ามา ที่ทั้งสนุกและหลากหลาย และน่าจะทำให้แฟนๆ เกมแข่งรถดื่มด่ำไปได้นานแสนนาน Gameplay ด้านการขับขี่ ที่ถูกปรับให้มีความเป็น arcade เข้าถึงได้ง่ายขึ้น แต่ก็ยังเต็มไปด้วยเอกลักษณ์ของซีรีย์ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นความสมจริงของสภาพพื้นผิวถนน ภูมิประเทศ สภาพอากาศ ที่มีผลต่อการขับขี่ การ customize ตัวรถ ที่เน้นด้านงาน cosmetic มากกว่า performance แต่ก็เข้ากับตัวเกมได้ดี Graphic ที่อาจจะไม่ได้ได้สวยงามเลิสเลอ แต่ก็ลื่นไหล ดังนั้นหากคุณคือผู้ที่ชื่นชอบเกมแข่งรถ ที่เน้นความสนุก และมีสิ่งต่างๆให้ทำมากมาย ไม่เน้น Rally simulator ก็แทบจะพูดได้เลยว่า Dirt 5 คือหนึ่งในเกมขับรถ Rally ส่งท้าย generation ปัจจุบันและ ต้อนรับ Gen ใหม่ได้อย่างยอดเยี่ยม
