受害者請盡量提供以下資料
1. 什麼時候開始受到攻擊，對方人數如何，什麼時候開始增加，在場人士是否有報警，什麼時候報警。
2. 警方派出的人手
3. 警方有沒有把暴徒放走，有沒有這方面的目擊者？
5. 有沒有佔中示威者使用暴力?
6. 問目擊者是否記得有關警員的編號，以便追究。
7. 記下當事人原話。
基本上，你需要找到當日的目擊者、受害人，並採訪他們，或者在網上發布問卷讓他們答案和留下聯繫方式以便採訪。最後形成報告，把它給香港政府，並要求他們立即進行獨立調查。
1. We said the police has failed to dispatch adequate police force to prevent violent attacks. So we need to know how many police officers were dispatched, and at what time.
2. We also say that the police failed to protect protestors from aggressors. So we need to have documentation from eyewitnesses about police response. We need from people who were physically attacked, verbally harassed and threatened. We need descriptions of what kinds of violence or harassment they were subjected to in details. And we need to know when they were subjected to violence/harassment if police were near them. And what did the police do—if police were far away, did they come over immediately? Did police take the aggressors away, did they separate the two groups, did they warn the attackers? Generally, what were the police doing?
3. Once the police took the aggressors away, do we know what they did with them? There are reports of police letting them go. Do we know what the police’s procedures in crime reports? Are they in any way justified in letting them go? Do we know if police take down their details? Did the victims report the crime to the police (if not then they should do so now and seek a clarification about the progress of their cases). We basically need to encourage victims to report the incidents to the police. I see press reports saying that police let them go aren’t always accurate.
4. Was there any violence by Occupy Central protestors? That would be important to document too. And also the police response to that.
Basically you need eyewitnesses to yesterday to come forward, and have a form with questions and either interview them or have them leave answers and contact details. Then contact those who seem to have the most information, and compile a report. Give it to HK government and ask for an independent investigation for wrongdoing.
