【Q家英國老屋裝修日記ep18: 完結篇】
今天是新家裝修工程最後一天。就在剛剛，討厭的工頭帶著他的工班撤場了，我們含淚（喜極而泣）沒說再見，慢走不送！其實目前還有少量的工程要做，包括廚房要安裝把手和水龍頭、地窖要鋪木地板等，但都已經和這批工班無關了。
這半年來有在追Q家老屋翻修日記的朋友，應該都能理解我們的裝修過程有多麼歹戲拖棚、命運多舛；尤其在最後這收尾階段，所有的小問題陸續浮現，應該是奈米眼+維持新屋強迫症的DDC人生中最折磨身心的一段黑暗時光。
為了不讓大家感受到太多負能量，我已經儘量精簡咱們builder所做出的錯事蠢事，但就連工程的最後一天，還是可以被我們發現 👉 壁燈裝反且螺絲又換成他們自己的（原廠螺絲被丟垃圾桶）、木地板被不知道哪來的殘膠滴到擦不掉、新廚房的其中兩個門片被他們的工具刮到…..，族繁不及備載，我跟DDC真的是氣氣氣氣氣到最後一刻。
往好處想，至少接下來的日子，房子是掌控在我們手裡，雖然我知道在英國翻修老屋沒有所謂「完工」的一天，隨時都可以再發現新地方想要裝修，但至少DDC能夠靠一己之力安心、慢慢地修補一些小細節，總比工人繼續在家裡胡搞瞎搞好。
在此帶著有些激動的心情和大家說：Q家英國老屋裝修日記，到今天這篇正式落幕，謝謝大家陪我一起度過這漫長的半年。待我們慢慢整理清潔好，接下來就是愉快的開箱美屋時間囉！
最後來搶先曝光新家古色古香的 #入口玄關。 英國和台灣很不一樣的是，不論是house 還是公寓，在進門處通常都有獨立的長廊，旁邊開一道門進去才是客廳，把空間切成一塊一塊的；這和台灣一進門就是開放式客廳的格局大不同。
我們新家的入口走廊走的是古典路線，我的規劃是在保留老屋元素（比如天花板雕刻）情況之下，重新鋪木地板、重新粉刷、再裝上新吊燈，全部弄完還是有煥然一新的感覺。 之後這個空間會再利用軟裝來讓色彩更豐富，像是掛畫、復古掛鉤和玄關桌（console table），前屋主留下的舊runner（照片中樓梯上那長條地毯）也可能會換新。DDC還打算四處逛古董店找尋適合的 #古董穿鞋椅，可能要2023年才能買到吧….

It's only been a few months in our new place, but we've already had so many occasions - Christmas, my birthday, and Chinese New Year.
The LEMA lemamobili side console by W. Atelier is the first thing that greets me when I get home. I just love that it comes with drawers to store my clutter so the tabletop is always tidy. ✨
On the other side is our informal chill-out area where we play board games and spend time as a family. 🎲 The Bea dining armchairs by Roberto Lazzeroni are my favourite piece of furniture in the entire house. Not only does it look refinely good, the shell-shaped backrest makes it so comfortable to sit in any direction.
When we have guests over, this area becomes a kids' table too! 🍕🍝 And yes, I have been nervous about their dirty hands on my chairs! Thankfully, it’s unfounded because any mess is actually quite easy to wipe off!
I look forward to making more memories with my family and kids with these wonderful furnitures. ❤️
