#'90年にセガ第二研究開発部が開発、セガが発売したアクションRPGで、家庭用機でのソーサリアン初移植作。全て本作オリジナルのシナリオに変更されていて開発には1年の歳月が及んだ。開発スタッフはMaster system版イースの移植担当チームが多く含まれる。
追加シナリオがディスク版で出るのではとも言われたが、2インチフロッピーディスクドライブ自体の開発が消滅した為に噂話に終わった。

"ドラゴンとたたかう"メニューの削除(最終シナリオが代替)、職業体系や魔法体系が変更等の変更点がある。
BGMはファルコムから直接FM音源の音色データを提供され入念に研究がなされた。
