Every Mother knows of the struggles of Motherhood. It’s a constant balancing act trying to fulfil all the roles a Mother plays for her baby, her family and herself. Throw in an active 2.5 years old toddler into that equation and that balancing act becomes a near impossible task 🤯 We all know that Moms, as amazing and incredible as they are, are still human. As much as we love and adore our babies, we sometimes need a few quiet moments to ourselves to stay sane. For me, I like to slot in some quiet time when I’m pumping. Decided to drop another update here. 💌 But I’m going to be honest, I’ve been sleeping alottttttttt 😴 in the recent weeks. I’ve not been working out (swimming) lately due to the lockdown and didn’t even do any grocery shopping bcs I choose to do it online. 𝘋𝘪𝘥𝘯’𝘵 𝘸𝘢𝘯𝘯𝘢 𝘱𝘶𝘵 𝘮𝘺 𝘧𝘢𝘮𝘪𝘭𝘺 𝘮𝘦𝘮𝘣𝘦𝘳𝘴 𝘰𝘯 𝘳𝘪𝘴𝘬 𝘦𝘴𝘱𝘦𝘤𝘪𝘢𝘭𝘭𝘺 𝘵𝘩𝘦 𝘦𝘭𝘥𝘦𝘳𝘭𝘺. Hmmm, despite my swollen feet 🦶🏻, I still try my best to cook and help out in the kitchen bcs I don’t have the heart ❣️ to see my mom busy and standing long hours with no one else to help her. ☝🏻👵🏻 𝙀𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙜𝙝 𝙨𝙝𝙚’𝙨 𝙘𝙖𝙥𝙖𝙗𝙡𝙚 𝙤𝙛 𝙙𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙞𝙩, 𝙩𝙝𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙝𝙤𝙪𝙡𝙙𝙣𝙩 𝙗𝙚 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙧𝙖𝙘𝙩𝙞𝙘𝙚. Afterall she’s alr 60+ and I think I am still fit 💃🏻 eventhough I am heavily pregnant right now, I should still lend her some helping hand. Besides, cooking gets me to “exercise” a lil. And I really enjoy holding the spatula 😝 and cook good food 🥘. Do you?

Now that my tummy 💓 has dropped much lower, I have a feeling it has turned head down too. 🏀 Bcs only when baby is in this position, her strong movement will trigger my urge to pee 𝘣𝘶𝘵 𝘐 𝘮𝘢𝘺 𝘣𝘦 𝘸𝘳𝘰𝘯𝘨 🤧 Just some comparison I did when baby’s position was in transverse vs head down 🤗 #motherinstinct 🤰🏻 I didn’t force-talk baby to change to my favoured position 𝘣𝘦𝘤𝘢𝘶𝘴𝘦 𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘳𝘺 𝘰𝘱𝘵𝘪𝘰𝘯𝘴 𝘩𝘢𝘴 𝘵𝘸𝘰 𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘴 𝘰𝘧 𝘢 𝘤𝘰𝘪𝘯, and this is what I told her ❤️“𝘽𝙖𝙗𝙮, 𝙟𝙪𝙨𝙩 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙘𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙥𝙤𝙨𝙞𝙩𝙞𝙤𝙣 𝙩𝙝𝙖𝙩’𝙨 𝙗𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙛𝙤𝙧 𝙮𝙤𝙪𝙧𝙨𝙚𝙡𝙛 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙢𝙪𝙢𝙢𝙮 𝙤𝙠, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙧𝙚𝙨𝙩 𝙬𝙚 𝙨𝙝𝙖𝙡𝙡 𝙡𝙚𝙖𝙫𝙚 𝙞𝙩 𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙨𝙥𝙚𝙘𝙞𝙖𝙡𝙞𝙨𝙩”. 👶🏻 💖#havefaithandbelieve

I have made no secret that out of everything I have experienced so far throughout Motherhood, breastfeeding and pumping remains one of the most difficult things that I have had to do thus far. The pain, the fear of mastitis, the discomfort of engorgement, worrying about not producing enough to feed my baby... and the list goes on. But despite all these obstacles, as a Mother I still want to try my best to provide for my children, so I persevered.

With both my daughters I relied heavily on pumping to provide them with breastmilk. Pumping meant that I could feed my daughters breastmilk and all the goodness that comes with it, whilst also allowing myself to get back to a somewhat normal routine and plan my day around my pumping schedule. It also means Daddy can step in to help with feeding when Mommy really needs to rest 😅 The breast pump is one of my most used items, which is precisely why investing in a good one is so important (用過你就知道品質高嘅重要性). When it comes to baby products, there are so many choices out there it can be overwhelming. However, as a second time Mommy, I learnt from the past and knew that all I need is 一個效率同舒適度一樣咁高嘅奶泵!
