I’ve always been a huge fan of @hermes #petiteh collection, not only does it use up-cycles materials, but also all the pieces are never the same and often at times one off. It’s much more playful than the main collection and this year with the brand’s #letsplay theme, it ties in together beautifully. Ever since the launch of Petite H in 2010, it has always been permanent at the Paris Serves store, and only tour to two cities per year. Last time Petite H visited HK was in 2012, and 6 years later it is now at the Landmark Prince flagship for three weeks. Aside from each creation, the interior setting is something to take note. There is a silk & bamboo tree running through the building to represent the dreams of the Lake Lagoda frozen horses, it is a collaboration piece hermes made with local artist Kevin Cheung. I also got a chance to make my own turn top at their mini workshop. It's an amazing collection and I'm so glad to see it before it opens yo public this weekend. #hermeshk #hermes @ Hermès

Our story:
Its all started in 2016. By coincidence, we got to know the family who runs Pimary and became good friends. Thank to their support and help, we were able to get this nice place next to theirs. More importantly, opening Kaffee House is our dream came true.
Kaffee House is on the main floor of a traditional house built in 60s and located at Tai Mei Tuk(Lo Tsz Tin Tsuen No.24). Every single corner of this house is being maintained as its original appearance. From the structure of the building, the ceiling, the wall, the window frame, the door and the tiles, are all kept the way they were. Nowadays, building in Hong Kong that is able to preserve the original characteristic is rarely seen. Experience a cup of hand craft coffee in this one of a kind historical building, it is going to be an unparalleled experience.
We had spent five months to carefully repair and preserve the value of this house and then decorated it as our very own space. We wanted to combine modern and less is more two ideas to create an unique place which brought nature and earth inside. So, we mainly selected furniture made of hardwood and bamboo, and decorated our space with old tree branches, bamboo and other natural materials. Ultimately, we wanted to create an atmosphere that makes our customers feel like home.
Kaffee House is our one and only one creation. We believe Kaffee House is more than a cup of gourmet coffee to our customers. We wholeheartedly wish every customer would have an amazing experience in a comfortable environment.

BAMBOO THEATRE
While permanent theatres are commonly built in most cosmopolitan modern cites, Hong Kong preserves a unique theatrical architecture, a Chinese tradition that has lasted more than a century – Bamboo Theatre.
It is a makeshift, open-air and bamboo shed theatre, which is built and fixed by plastic straps, without any heavy-duty materials. During festivities in the villages, they will invite Chinese opera troupes to perform ritualistic opera in the temporary theatre constructed in front of the temple, in order to express their gratitude to the Chinese gods they worship. Spirits and gods were the primary audiences.
This film follows ritual practices in various villages and remote islands of Hong Kong for two years. It is the portrait of this traditional cultural space, its way of building and dismantling, also the collaborative work of troupes’ performers, stage managers and wardrobe, etc. It allows audience to observe multiple corners of the space, and the variety of ways in which people make use of it.
